A farm visit like no other! - We had a wonderful time with Ito and his wife at their eclectic farm 40 minutes out of Miyazaki. They were flexible in combining the 2 tour of farm experience with kappa food experience to accommodate our schedule. Translator Koichi Hirashima was welcoming and helpful. The farm is filled with lots of antiques and collectibles from Ito’s Harley Davidson to the brand new drone. The couple shared their home, including Buddhist and Shinto altars. We enjoyed the food cooked in bamboo containers and it was an altogether fun and unique experience.
