Great experience - We enjoyed a lot this activity. Very Happy with the driver who pick us in the hotel, Simba, a very friendly person and excellent driver. The guide, Nasser, was very kind with us too. The snorkel, the arena bank and the food were excellent!

UNPROFESSIONAL CAPTAINS - The tour guide was hospitable but can't say the same with the Captain. He caused an unnecessary conflict between himself and the passengers by wanting to overload the boat with passengers from his fellow colleague.

Great Spots. Average tour company. - The spots visited were the redeeming factor. The tour guide though nice as a solo lady travelling barely spoke English or knew about the locations being visited. Each time question asked, she needed to consult with boat captain who also said nothing until the final stage of the trip. Saving grace was a guest who also doubled as a boat man who just happened to be on the trip. Do the same route but suggest finding the original Safari Blue for the tour.

The trip - The guide did his best to please the guests, but not well organized, the guide said we will be at the sandbank for 15-20 min. We stayed there for almost an hour - there is not so much to see. The lunch was homemade and good. Information and time schedule for each destination from the boat was spares but the captain did a good job getting us back in high tide 😊🌊 the kwale island and the blue lagoon seemed nice but not enough time to experience it properly. Honestly it was not worth 100 USD maybe 70 USD

Do not use Mango travel & tours - Picked up 8am at hotel. At the beach, waited til 9.30am for the canoe to come, not a dhow. We asked where’s the dhow. Then waited til 10.30am for the dhow to come. At the sand bank, there was no fruits whereas other groups had fruits. The guide managed to borrow some fruits fr other guides. He cut up the fruits for us when we got back on the boat. Lunch was a let down, other groups around us had big size lobsters and out group had tiny lobsters, 1/3 of the size lobsters of other groups. The itinerary stated a stop at Niamembe island, but the guide told us it is the same as blue lagoon, which is incorrect. Overall experience was a negative.

Interesting but badly organized tour! - First of all the tour has variable prices (and even a lot) even if it is the same for everyone! For example, an agency asked us 90€ per person, my hotel charged me 50€, while others paid 35€...
Then, you are literally crammed into a small coach for about 4 and a half hours total (round trip).
The lagoon is beautiful, the islet is overcrowded and noisy, the snorkeling very poor and the lunch discreet although rather fast (here the pole pole does not work).
Conclusion: the expense is not worth the tour!

Very poor snorkeling - Sandbar you snorkel out has a small amount of coral and some fish. If you have never snorkeled before it may be a fun experience but for any one who has snorkeled before it is pretty dull and probably one of most boring snorkel spots I've ever been too. The blue lagoon is just a lagoon where water is about 4ft deep and pretty much devoid of fish. Seafood lunch wasnt bad and the staff were very friendly and helpful
However overall I believe this is not worth the money
