Malaga’s Alcazaba is positioned on a hill at the heart of the city, offering a panoramic view of the port. It consists of two fortified walls. Previously, it was linked to the city’s ramparts, providing a third layer of defense, yet only two inner walls stand today. The first wall, moulded according to the hill’s landscape, fully encloses the second interior area and is interspersed with defensive towers.
