Wonderful Local Experience - Paula was an excellent guide and made the experience extremely enjoyable! There were just 4 of us on this tour so it was easy for us to fit into the crowded areas. We visited the oldest winery in Malaga first and realized right away that this was not a “tourist trap” and it was definitely a place where the locals go for their wine as did Pablo Picasso and there are some great pictures of him on the wall. Next we walked to the market which has a remarkable selection of everything you might need. The place we stopped for delicious tapas and wine in the market place itself was an excellent choice. This tour was definitely worth it and I would do it again the next time I’m in Malaga.

Wonderful tour with delicious food! - We were so glad that we decide to do this food tour! Maria was a wonderful tour guide and provided great insights on the food as well as Malaga as we walked through it. We did this tour in late January, and it was still a great time to do it! Totally worth your money!

Excellent tour with Carlos and value for money - Booked this before our arrival in Malaga and met Carlos in .... sampled the local Malaga sweet wine. Our guide Carlos was very knowledgeable about the local area. He pointed out landmarks as we walked to the tapas bars. We started in. Market and sampled local fruit and olives. It was a Saturday so the place was buzzing. Visited 3 tapas bars and had drinks and tapas in each place. We asked Carlos to choose for us so we had a fantastic selection of various meats, cheeses, meatballs, gazpacho, anchovies, grilled sardines, potato and orange salad. Enjoyed the local beer and wine. Excellent value for money and went to places that we may not have found or picked ourselves. Met 4 lovely girls from Galway who were on a hen weekend so we had great company and chat. Highly recommend!

Carlos was a fabulous guide. He... -
Carlos was a fabulous guide. He took us on a walking food and wine tour around Malaga. We sampled delicious local delicacies and wines. At one of the wine stops, we were introduced to a bota Spanish wine container and wanted to buy one. Carlos made sure we ended the tour with one we were happy with. Carlos added a treat by asking one of the chefs to allow us to grill the fish we were going to eat. Fun times! Highly recommend this tour with Carlos.

Four of us took this very enjoyable... -
Four of us took this very enjoyable tour with Paco. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the city of Malaga and The local cuisine. We were able to first try some sweet wine at our meeting point and then we went through the Ataranzas Market where we tried local olives and then small sandwiches with ham and cheese, sausage and bread along with beer or wine. We toured the market and looked at the many fresh selections of seafood before moving on to a local restaurant, We then went to a restaurant named Taberna El Mentidero where we helped prepare sardines on small swords which were cooked over coals and also fried fresh anchovies. This was washed down with local wine. It was really good and fun. We then went to Malaga Pura for some great tempranillo red wine and fried asparagus and skewers of meat with cous cous. I would highly recommend this and all of us enjoyed this experience.

Met with guide at appointed time... -
Met with guide at appointed time, she was very unprepared and the tour was just a walk thru the market and then a stop at a tapas restaurant across the street that was unprepared for our stop. The guide was on the phone to her office asking what to do. Then she proceeded to walk us around the streets very slowly and pointing out strange sites. We finally said we wanted to leave the tour after about an hour and go on our own. Disappointing!!
