A nice tour but ..... - We spent way too much time going in circles to pick up other people, some locations we passes four time. Not enough time at any of the tour locations.

Terrible - At the meeting point Frank, our guide, was rude and raised his voice towards a customer who asked a question: the colour of the bus. He replied yellow and there was no yellow bus only blue. When she inquired further he began to yell at her that the bus was blue. She replied with you said yellow and that really set him off until another customer confirmed that he said yellow. I understand the bus was going to make stops to pick-up other customers. However, this process took 1 1/2 hours!! At several of the stops we waited up to 15 minutes for additional the customers to arrive! At one stop, we asked to get off to use the restroom at the restaurant we were parked directly in front of. Initially, he argued against it. He told us quickly and quick we were. Once back on the bus we still had to wait for the other customers another 7 minutes! At our pick-up we waited 1/2 hour until most folks on the bus became vocal over the wait and we left. Frank introduced himself and our drive at this point and in the middle of his introduction he interrupted himself to chastise customers for talking and “being rude” and “threatened to stop speaking”!!!! A customer yelled back be nice. At our first destination, Mijas, a customer called the office of Julia Travel to complain. Frank overheard her and began yelling at her. This customer had a lengthy conversation detailing above and more and was assured the they would speak with Frank. Frank's disposition changed and he was respectful and knowledgeable. Mijas, Marbella and Puerto Banuz are all lovely, quaint cities. However, we did not have enough time to explore. In Puerto Banuz we had 45 minutes! This was barely time to walk to the waterfront and back. Just before we arrived in Malaga for our drop-off Frank got on the loudspeaker and proceed to insult and make what sounded like threats to the customer who called the office. He said he was an interpreter for the police and insulting a Spaniard is a crime; and that she should watch herself then he got off the bus BEFORE it pulled into our stop and walked away. I have NEVER in my years met a tour guide who is so clearly NOT suited to interact with people. He was rude, insulting (there were the comments when we returned from the bathroom made as we boarded the bus) and now what appeared threatening. The people I was with, the conversations and the beautiful day with amazing landscapes are the only redeeming assets of the day. The tour and especially their guide needs plenty of work. I say, don't waste your money or day on this tour.
