Malaga and More! - We had a wonderful time with Silvina touring Malaga!!! Would certainly recommend her to all other tourists who visit this gem of a city! As a private tour, we were treated to 5 Star service all day and the itinerary was tailored to our specific needs. Silvina's knowledge of Malaga was impressive and she was more than willing to snap endless pics of us whenever we desired. Highlight of the tour was a visit to Mijas, a nearby hillside town that offers an amazing view over the landscape below. Remember, ask for Silvina to guide your Malaga tour and you won't go wrong! :)

Malaga in a day - A great tour to get to see the highlights of Malaga area , especially if you only have a few days. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and made adjustments as needed.

Great private tour of Malaga and area! - Johanna was a superb guide. We got to see so many cool things with this private tour, and she led us to see some spectacular views, and she was very accommodating, great communication. Picked us up at cruise port at exact time.

I would highly recommend this tour! - I was picked up promptly at the designated location and my delightful driver and guide wasted no time and began educating me on the highlights and history of Malaga and the surrounding areas! She also share some of her favorite hidden gems of the area! She was easy to speak with and our conversations made me feel I was being shown the area by a friend. She wrote me a list of names and places I should take more time to explore! Overall a great experience

Excellent guide and experience in Malaga - Eduardo met us promptly at the ship, and helped us have a wonderful experience in Malaga and the surrounding area! From the wonderful visit to Mija and the panoramic vistas of the Costa del Sol to the surprise visit to the Columbus Castle Memorial and experiencing a walking tour of the old town and moorish castle, everything was great! Eduardo was an excellent guide, and we highly recommend him!

Tour was great. The guide was just So...So... - The Visit to Mejas and the Christopher Columbus Monument were outstanding. The tour guide was very opinionated and we did not appreciate her political comments, which never should have come up during our tour. Her vehicle was not clean inside and the windows were very dirty. She also had a hygiene problem. She did take us to beautiful places with wonderful views and her knowledge of the region was excellent.

Worst tour guide and tour is definitely misleading. - One star for effort in driving us around. Out of all the Viator guides I had encountered, this guide was the worst. It was also mentioned here that tickets and visit to Alcazaba of Málaga are included , no it was not, it was more like an overlook and drive by. I asked her if we would go inside the Alcazaba and she said " This is not that kind of tour Ma'am, you are in the comfort of your car." The Mercado Central de Atarazanas was closed so we did just a drive by, that shaved off 20 mins. of our tour, which could have been used as dropping us off near the Cathedral and giving us 30 or 45 mins. to walk around and take photos but no she dropped us off right smack in the middle of the Cathedral, people were looking at us wondering what is going on and she then said " Now's your only chance to take a photo." She is a lazy guide, of all the private tours I had, the guide would walk with you through the historical sites, most would even go in and some would say " I'm not allowed to go in, as there is a historical guide in that museum that will guide you through." The historical sites are close by in proximity as we went by th next day since we didn't grab any photos except for the Cathedral. I'm glad I cancelled the Rhonda and Setenil de las Bodegas private tour with this company because she could've been our guide as she had stated she was the only one assigned for tours in English. It also states in the details: "Walking tour in Malaga: Catehdral, Roman Theater, Picasso Museum and Picasso Birth Place", there was none of this. I also believe when you meet new people as your line of work, you have to at least look like you put some effort into it, she looked like she just woke up, tied her hair in a bun, picked out a tight sleeveless top, jumped into some leggings and started her day since she had body odor emitting onto the van. I don't want to sound mean but this is a job, you are representing your company and your place, you have to at least try to look presentable. I really did not want to submit this review but I believe it's only fair to let the company know these are things they could work on. There was a discussion of race and ethnicity in this tour as she was also from Dutch ancestry and I am coming from a minority or people of color which definitely absolutely sealed the deal that I will not come back to Malaga for any of my future vacations. From my conversation with her, she was also very close minded about America and coming from somebody that has not stepped or visited America, there are actually very intellectual people of color in America, Ma'am. This was a tour wherein I wanted it to end the soonest. Could I have not finished the tour? Definitely yes but I spent so much money on this tour that I decided to tune her out and create a mindset to think that I hired an Uber driver to drive me around for sightseeing.
