It is one of the oldest surviving Roman structures in Andalusia.

  • Alcazaba de Málaga - The Alcazaba was constructed in the 11th century during the period of Islamic rule in Spain.

It served as a fortress and palace for the Muslim governors of Málaga.

  • Plaza de toros de La Malagueta - The bullring was inaugurated in 1876. Designed by the architect Joaquín Rucoba, La Malagueta features a Neo-Mudéjar style, which is a revival of Moorish architecture.
