Great experience :) - Great experience! After meeting in Malaga we had a little tour with our very kind tour guide Anais who explained a lot about the history of Malaga the Market and some special spots we should visit during our stay in Malaga. When arrived at the kitchen, we had an Olive Oil tasting and were given a lot of info about same as during the whole cooking activity. Our chef Alma gave us detailed instructions and tipps to cook our own paella which we made successfully. It was really delicious! We had a lot of fun during the class, got a lot of information and met really nice and interesting people (: Thanks a lot to the guide and the chef!

Fun and delicious 😊 - Everything about this was fantastic - we had a walk through the city, including the market where we got to taste some food, before heading to the cooking class. We learned lots and everything we cooked and ate was delicious. You get so much for your money with this class - highly recommend!

Fantastic Malaga afternoon! - Super fun and educational! Javi was amazing - so full of details about the market, local food and customs, and so much more. It was fun to meet and interact with people visiting from other places too. Loved it!

Great paella course! - We received this course as a gift from our children, and were a little excited in advance. I had the desire to make paella, but thought it was a bit complicated. But it turned out to be very easy when we had such good tutors. In addition to paella, we were taught how to make sangria, churros and paprika salad. Olive oil tasting was also included. The city hike with Jorge was an experience, especially the trip through the food market. He showed us places we would not find to ourselves and was very nice company. We are food-loving people and this was a perfect gift. Recommended if you’re looking for an experience that brings new knowledge, new tastes and new acquaintances. Thank you very much to spanishfoodsherpas for a very pleasant day. We will try all the recipes when we get home and have already bought paellapanne.

Fabulous! - Anais provided an excellent cooking class. It was engaging, allowed all of us (~10) to individually participate. She was gracious and helpful, and made the event extremely fun. Her knowledge at both the open market tour and in preparing the dishes we made in the kitchen were evident. She made it comfortable, so the whole group quickly became engaged and participative. It was one of the peaks of our trip, and writing this one year later bring back memories of a wonder full experience with her.

Fabulous cooking experience in Malaga - Our cooking class was amazing! Our tour guide, Javier, was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. He introduced us to Spanish foods that were new to us in the Central Market. We then made an incredible meal with the help of a great chef. It began with sangria, followed by a tomato and onion salad, a main course of paella and topped off with a churros dessert. Plenty of wine, beer and other beverages. It was the highlight of our trip!

Perfect Mother-Daughter Bonding - I highly recommend this paella class! I've always wanted to learn how to properly make paella so this was really perfect for me and my mom. I also liked how they included Gazpacho in the class. Being a soup lover, I didn't appreciate Gazpacho the first time I tried it because it's cold and I'm used to hot soup. But the class made me appreciate it and now I can say I actually like it. I would also like to point out how exceptional Javi and Alba were. They were very patient with our questions. I liked how we got a quick tour of the Soho and Atarazanas area. Being a new resident of Malaga, I appreciated his tips on where and how to buy goods from the mercado. Perfect your, perfect guides, and perfect company! 👌🏻
