- Cortijo Los Aguilares - You will be shown around their vineyards and winery where you’ll learn about their range of wines and how each one is made, before sampling 3 - 4 of their award winning wines.

A Great Tour! - This was a terrific trip, allowing time to walk around Ronda before visiting two wineries. Our guide, Nicky, was fantastic. We were basically dropped off in the center of Ronda, giving us the opportunity to explore for a couple of hours at our own pace, with our own choice of destinations, then picked back up and driven to the first winery.
Nicky knows wine and clearly had personal knowledge of the wineries we visited.
The tasting at the first winery included generous tastings of terrific wines - both white and red - and generous tapas - more than we could eat.
The second winery (special thanks to Sonja for a lively tour of this biodynamic winery) also featured generous tastings of, again, terrific wines.
We had a great day and wholeheartedly recommend this tour!

Lovely day with wines - Had a lovely day with Rootz wine tours. First we were taken to Ronda where we had appr. 2 hrs of free time. Got good tips on how to use our free time.
After Ronda we visited 2 wineries close by and got tours of the wineries + tasting of their wines. It was really interesting + the tapas they served us was truly delicious. There was plenty to eat so no need to have lunch in Ronda.
Our tour guide Nicky was very knowledgeable about wines and the day was very informative. There was only 5 of us on the tour and Nicky was very friendly and good with including all of us into the conversations. Made even us "stiff" Finnish people feel very relaxed. ;)

Fun and comprehensive wine tour. - Nicky was a wonderful host, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area and the wines we drank. First Nicky drove up the mountain to Ronda where we stopped for two hours to explore. Old beautiful city with one of the oldest bullrings in Spain. We were able to explore at our own pace and ended up at a charming wine bar. Nicky then picked us up and took us to two vineyards, first Bodegas Conrad where after the tour we all sat and tasted their wines while eating a tasty selection of cheeses, sliced meats and homemade dips and veggie pate. Next we were off to Cortijo Los Aguilares for another tour and more tastings. Having Nicky, a trained sommelier as our host really made these tastings fun and educational. It was a long day, but one that we will not forget. Thanks to Nicky and the quides at each winery. Highly recommend, especially if you love wine.

A must do winery and Ronda area experience! - Had a fabulous day with Nicky touring Ronda and a couple of the area wineries. Nicky’s knowledge of wine and her relationships with the wineries in the area were a huge part of making our day special. We were able to have experiences that would not be possible on a larger group tour. Thank you to Rootz for a really fun and interesting excursion. We will be back for another one!

Ronda for the Win! - A wonderful tour with a wonderful tour guide! Nicky was fantastic and very knowledgeable. She created a personal experience by taking us to the quaint city of Ronda. After spending free time in Ronda, Nicky took us to 2 wineries. The wineries were amazing, and the tastings were first rate. Nicky gave us great insight into the wines, it's pairings and all that comes with them. This was more than tasting, this was an educational experience that was second to none. The day in Ronda was a great way to spend our last day in Marbella. Moreover, Nicky was the best. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for making this day memorable!

So much fun...we went on two! - During our recent trip to Marbella, we enjoyed two wine tours (i.e., Ronda and Antequera) with Nicky, the founder and owner of Rootz Wine Tours.
We went directly through their website to enquire about tour availability. Nicky was quick to respond offering a date for the Ronda tour along with information about how the day is planned. Once we had accepted the date, her accounts department sent us an invoice which we paid in advance. We gave Nicky the details of our accommodation and she explained that she would be in touch a day or two before to confirm our collection time. As promised, the day before our tour, we received an email not just confirming when we would be picked up, but also details of the weather and advice on the winding mountainous route in the event that we suffered from car sickness.
Both days Nicky arrived to our accommodation with military precision and the brightest and warmest smile. Along our routes, we learned all about the regions we were driving through - from the history of winemaking in the region to interesting local events and sites, as well as her background in the wine industry. Nicky provided us with useful maps and tourist information for both Ronda and Antequera for our free time in the towns. And, as for the vineyards, each one that Nicky selected for the tours could not have been more different to the other; all were excellent! Her knowledge and enthusiasm for the product and region is absolutely infectious; and, the warmth and hospitality of our guides at the vineyards made our visits to each one special.
We had so much fun on both tours, we will definitely be booking again when we're next in Marbella!

Ronda wine tour - Flawless. From beginning to end. Nicky was punctual & informative. She drove us to & from effortlessly yet carefully. Pointing out points of interest along the way. The vineyards were beautiful & high end, some delicious wines & delicious tapas. Pablo & Frida were both interesting & knowledgeable hosts at the vineyards that were simply stunning . It was a great day out & excellent value. Would definitely book again with this company.

A great experience, a completely stress free visit to the Ronda with wonderful people, wine and food - We had a great time on the full day wine tour, being picked up and dropped off made this a completely stress free experience. Mixing the wine tours with an opportunity with some free time in Ronda really made for a great full day. The wine was excellent, food so complementary. Those involved in wine production in this region are so passionate about what they do, so enthusiastic regards the vines, the production process and product. The Rootz team really looked after us, we would fully recommend and will defiantly book again in the future.

Full day wine tour - This tour with Nicky was fabulous. She promptly picked up all the guests at our hotels in marbella. We were a smaller group of five from the USA, Canada, and Ireland. Nicky is the sweetest guide! She is very knowledge about wine and the history of marbella and the surrounding areas. We had some free time in Ronda to walk around and see the sights. What a great little town. Wish I could come back for the day. The roads are cobblestone and pretty hilly, so wear comfortable sneakers. It was a charming little town with great shops and restaurants. The wineries we went to were so beautiful! We had four tastings at each winery accompanied by a full tapas platter. You will not leave hungry! Everyone in our group had a great time! I highly recommend this tour if visiting marbella.

I highly recommend Rootz Wine Tours. Nicky is a great guide, leading us through scenic routes to three unique wineries. - I highly recommend Rootz Wine Tours. Nicky is a fantastic guide, taking you along scenic roads to each winery. This was our second time joining a tour to Ronda, and we visited three unique wineries, each offering different styles of wine. As an excellent sommelier, Nicky expertly guided us through the tastings. We also had the chance to try delicious olive oils produced on-site and savory ham from local acorn-fed pigs. I recommend this tour to anyone, not just for the wine, but for the complete experience of Spanish history, traditions, and food.
