Wine Tour in Malaga - What made this tour amazing was Rodrigo. He took us to authentic places, explained wine making and we tasted the best tapas and organic wines. He was amazing! Highly recommend this tour with Rodrigo. Very knowledgeable in wines and history. He took his time. We never felt rushed. He was extremely prepared for all our needs ….. cold water, umbrellas for sun, sunscreen, bug repellent. We met great people from the UK as well!!! Was highlight of our trip to Malaga Spain.

Small charming vineyard tour - This is a really cute small group tour. Our guide Laura was just amazing. She gave us a lot of fun facts about the Malaga region, the history of wine and about the vineyard owner. You don’t spend much time in the vineyard, and it’s very small, it’s charming. The tapas and wine tasting happens where they produce the wine. They were very generous with the amount of wine, we got to taste 6 wines that were accompanied with fresh tapas and snacks. We were able to buy bottles that are not sold to the public (by card). In general it was a lovely experience, not too long either.

Vineyard and cellar tour - Can’t recommend this tour highly enough. Rodrigo - great guy, he was extremely helpful and accommodating from the pre booking queries to the follow up customer care after the tour. We were staying near fuengirola and Rodrigo volunteered to pick us up separately and meet the rest of the group at the vineyard to save us travelling all the way to Malaga to the meeting point. Laura who did the tour was also great, very friendly, knowledgable and happy to have a relaxed discussion instead of a pre prepared one way monologue. Antonio the owner of the vineyard and cellar didn’t speak any English so the guide does all the translation for him but a very interesting character to meet and you can tell how passionate he is for his wines and tapas. Some in the group didn’t drink much wine some drunk the whole lot but no pressure or judgement on anyone drinking more or less than they wanted to. Would recommend to anyone!

Great fun , great wine, great hosts! - What a great experience! Our host Rodrigo was so friendly & engaging - we learned so much about the history of winemaking on our short drive , then got to walk around Antonio’s vineyard whilst learning more & sampling our first wine . The trip then took us a short distance to Antonio’s winery/cellar where we met Antonio & got to sample several of his wines with accompanying tasty tapas which Antonio had chosen to go with each . We had such a good time & enjoyed being in just a small group where we could all ask as many questions as we liked & sat around the table eating & drinking . It felt like a day out with friends by the end of it!

Highly Recommended - Our guide Rodrigo was excellent. He made contact the day before with precise instructions where to meet. We were a group of 7 (4 from England and 3 from the US) so communication was easy. We travelled in an air-conditioned van. On the journey through the mountains to Mijas (where the vineyard was located), Rodrigo explained the history of Malaga and wine making in the region. The vineyard was located around the owner’s home and produces about 5,000 bottle of organic wine per year. Apart from the vines, the vineyard was home to various animals (hens, goats, dogs and cats). At this point we tasted a delicious rose‘ , while Rodrigo explained the production of organic wine. We were also able to admire the wonderful views of the sea and distant mountains in Morocco. We then descended to Fuengirola where the owner, Antonio, was waiting for us. The winery was very unassuming, being located in a unit on an industrial estate. Antonio explained the wine production (expertly translated by Rodrigo). We then sat down at a table with 6 glasses each and a plated of various tapas. We tasted each wine (rose, white and red) and tried each tapas that had been prepared by Antonio and his wife to complement the wine. We were then left to enjoy the wines as well as the additional tapas that filled the table. Before we left, we had the opportunity to buy some wine. The whole day was expertly organised by Rodrigo. He paid enormous attention to detail, especially the welfare of his clients. In the back of his van, he had umbrellas (shade & rain), sunscreen and bug spray (definitely recommended on an organic winery). Would rate this 5 star plus and good value for money.

Highly recommended! - We were a group of girls and did this tour, which we can highly recommend - Laura and Victoria did a great job! The vineyard, the stories about wine and this region - everything was so interesting! The organic wines from Victoria were so good, that we directly ordered some bottles. Everything was perfect - we had great hours together and a lot of fun.
