- Redvald Knutsons vei 21 - We will take you on a guided hike to have a view over the city and its surroundings. It is a hike that takes you up to a viewpoint known as “Appelsinhaugen” (“Orange Hill”). As we hike up to about 170 m.a.s. we will tell you the story of this trail and the city. When we are coming to the top of the “roof” of Mo I Rana, you will have an awesome view over the city.
The hike takes about 3 hours both ways, and we can either pick you up at your hotel, or we can meet at the starting point. Map will be provided for you at your hotel.
We make coffee on a fire, and you can have your lunch up there as well.
We start from Fageråsen near the skijump hill, Mo I Rana at 10 a.m. and return about 13.

Join us for a guided hike that offers an outstanding viewpoint over the city and its surroundings. We’ll journey to a place denoted as ‘Appelsinhaugen’ or ‘Orange Hill’. As we climb to approximately 170 meters above sea level, we will narrate the history of this trail and the city. Upon reaching the ‘roof’ of Mo I Rana, you will be greeted with a breathtaking view of the city.
The hiking journey, round trip, takes nearly 3 hours. We offer either pick-up services from your hotel or an arranged meet at the trailhead. A map will be offered at your hotel for your convenience.
During the excursion, we prepare coffee over a fire, and provide an opportunity for you to have your lunch at the peak too.
The adventure begins at 10 a.m. from Fageråsen near the ski jump hill, Mo I Rana and we will return around 1 p.m.
