Must see - Docents are amazing and displays blew us away. Well maintained and very educational. Not assessable in some parts for seniors and wheelchair.

Difficulty - The incline is very steep not very wheelchair friendly there is a lot of climbing involved up and down the steep ladders but it is an amazing ship to be seen

Great family visit - Entrance When we went there was only one queue and no line so buying tickets in advance only saved us maybe 30 seconds. Ship I went to this place 2-3 times with my parents when I was a kid so it has nostalgia. Was able to take my kids for the first time and my mom. We loved seeing the ship. My mom is not that mobile so we didn't go too high or too low in the ship but we saw lots of highlights. Property The entire property is a museum now with military aircraft inside and outside. There's also a dry docked submarine. Time You could spend a day here. We spent about two hours only because we needed to keep moving. Food There is a restaurant on site although we didn't try it. Overall Great experience and great value.

Always a great family experience - Have been going to this place since I was a kid and now I took my kids. You could spend most of a day but in two hours you can see the highlights. There is only one entrance so buying from here maybe saved one minute at the ticket counter.

USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park - Great stop when passing through Mobile, AL. We had an amazing time exploring and viewing all the amazing exhibits at the USS Alabama. We spent hours exploring the exhibits, the USS Drum submarine, and the battleship USS Alabama. Loved walking around the battleship and taking in the history. Planes, tanks and helicopters parked around the grounds are just as cool.

Fantastic inside seeing. - We could understand real size of insides of the submarine and battleship. Then, We can imagine how tight living in the submarine, and how complicated inside structure of battleship. Based on these understanding, we could imagine tough situation during World War 2.

Interesting and knowledgeable - It was enriching. Quite an interesting history. The submarine was very cool. It was quite tight going down and up the ladders. Was feeling claustrophobic esp at the 3rd deck of the battleship. The submarine tour was direct the battleship was huge so they had yellow, green and red tags to follow. It is important to know how our forefathers were determined and persevered and completed the battle ship in months during war.
