This magnificent tree, often called the “2000-year-old plane tree,” symbolizes history, resilience, and cultural significance in the Cretan village of Krasi.
• Dikteon Cave - Consider visiting the Dikteon Cave, famed as the birthplace of Zeus in Greek mythology. A short drive from the plateau, this cave is rich in legend and history. Wander through the caverns, stalactites, and stalagmites while soaking in the mythical atmosphere.
