Fantastic experience! - One of my best experiences ever, it's a proper submarine! The crew were really professional and looked the part in their outfits. Exciting experience to see the shipwrecks and shoals of fish! Informative commentary throughout. And how nice for photos to be offered at the end of the trip for a reasonable price!

Best thing on our holiday - We were staying in Puerto Mogan, and walked down to the marina to get on one of the glass-bottomed boat tours. Despite what their leaflet said, they were not running that day, so we wandered over to the submarine dock, and as the kids were keen, bought some tickets.
Had lunch in a lovely restaurant nearby, then onto the sub. While the water was murky in places, you were close enough up to everything that you could see it well. There were loads of different types of fish, with a handy screen to help you identify them.
The kids (10 yo & 8 yo) loved it, and I certainly enjoyed my first ever trip in a real submarine.
At the end, the photos they took of you as you got on board were available at €5 for two colour prints, which I thought was very good value. The kids also got certificates, and all the staff were lovely.
True, you are only underwater for about 30 minutes - about 45 mins for the total trip - but with kids, I think that's long enough. We got talking to another family at the hotel who did a boat trip that lasted 3 hours, and they said it was a seasickness nightmare. None of that on the sub, as it's underwater, where there's no waves!

Must experience if you have never done it - A rare experience to reach the sea-bed on a submarine and look closely at marine flora and fauna. A 40 minutes experience one would remember for lifetime. Trip is well coordinated, but better to book in advance. Audio aids in English helps to explain. Tour takes also to two ship wrecks. Of course visibility is poor under sea but one gets to look at them closely.

In the shoes of Captain Nemo - Very nice experience of total immersion in this submarine. We were comfortably seated in front of the portholes, with headphones that broadcast us beautiful classical music and explanations on the progress of the trip,
and where we saw a simulation of the remains of an ancient civilization, not to mention fish. I liked it a lot.... it reminded me of the book Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea

Excellent - We weren't sure what to expect based on reviews but we had great fun. Saw loads of fishes. Trip lasted about 35 minutes. Go when the sun is out as you see more in the water.

Murky waters but enjoyable. - My wife and I took this trip after reading reviews. Visibility wasn't very good because the water was very murky but we are glad we took the trip just to experience it.

Skip this one! - For €35 pp. half an hour under water. This is really way too expensive and not worth the trip! On the way you come across a few fish while enjoying way too epic background music. You see two shipwrecks and some fake pillars with some stacked stones underwater. Something that is supposed to give the impression of being the remains of some sunken city. In a little over half an hour you are back on shore with a hernia richer and €70,- poorer. Once off the ship they try to sell you some photos of when you were still happy to go on board. All in all a waste of your time and especially your money.

Avoid - Not what we expected from the website! Water not very clear only Saw only a hand full of fish and 2 ship wrecks with not much explanation about them. Try quick trip!! Not worth the money

Poor attitude & ignorance towards disabled. - Didn’t go on this trip but was there last Friday. Theres a sign saying get the disabled toilet keys from the sub. My girlfreind has mobility issues, wears sunflower lanyard & has incontinence issues. When asked for the disability access key he held He told me she could walk, although struggles to do so so she wasn’t disabled. I told him she had a disabled persons uk buspass as proof & pointed out the lanyard he told me it was just a piece of card. Told me only people in a wheelchair were disabled. Was considering booking alone for this trip but will not bother. A warning for any disabled customers he may get.

Not worth it - Not worth the money as you hardly see anything but a few small fish. The water is also very muddy so nothing like the picture here! Our 5 year olds were disappointed and did not enjoy this at all.
The bus picked us up at 11 am for the "morning tour" and we reached Mogan Port at around 12. We were then told to get off to "explore" as the submarine ride wouldnt start until 2 pm which was really silly as we had 2 hours to kill on that small port.
Once on it, you get like 30 mins of doing nothing !
