Worth the trip - We were both impressed and pleased with Sheila's knowledge of Hampton Court Palace, its residents and its history. In depth understanding of not just Henry VIII, but King William, and occupants prior to and after them. Details of Henry's life and legacy and inclusion of his relationships with his wives, not just a recital of their sequence and deaths, was engaging and educational. Information too about the different architectural styles of what we were seeing. Would highly recommend. Not part of Sheila's explanation but also worth seeing, was the room about the India regiments and their place in colonial Britain.

Amazing tour with Sheila! - We had an amazing tour of Hampton Court Palace with Sheila! Her extensive knowledge of the history of the palace is impressive and her talent for storytelling makes this tour unlike any other. She immediately asked what we were interested in learning and she personalized our tour throughout the whole experience. She was such a joy to learn from and her passion is contagious. It was truly the highlight of our trip to London. Thank you, Sheila!

Amazing tour with Sheila! - We had an amazing tour of Hampton Court Palace with Sheila. Her extensive knowledge of the palace is beyond impressive and she has a true talent for storytelling that gives you an experience you won’t get in a large group tour or any other tour. She is so personable and truly cared about what interested us. She went above and beyond and it was no doubt the highlight of our trip! The best way to experience Hampton Court Palace! - We chose Sheila for a private tour as a birthday gift, and it is without a doubt the best way to view Hampton Court Palace.
Sheila is unbelievably knowledgeable about the Tudor goings on at Hampton Court Palace and took us through every nook and cranny; each with a bespoke tale and lots of info!
If you want a passionate and lovely guide with a tour that goes deep into the Tudor world; much more than an audio guide or booklet could ever offer — choose Sheila!

Sheila was outstanding! - Sheila Dunsmore was wonderful. So knowledgeable, personable and went above and beyond to give us all the stories and show us the best parts of the palace. You can ask for her to highlight different time periods and she knows them all. And she gives a little extra too... we asked for Tudor history, and at the end she took us on some of the William&Mary era rooms with us as well. I highly recommend her for this tour!

An intimate experience - It was one of the highlights of our trip to England recently. Sheila was exceptionally knowledgeable and and at all times accommodating. She provided unique insights into the rich historical stories woven over time that went far beyond just the dates, people, and events. She made the history come alive and shared with you an almost intimate sense of relationship with the figures she was describing. She patiently answered all of our questions and allowed us to absorb the history at our own pace. A very enjoyable experience.

Don’t hesitate to book this tour! - Sheila is a remarkable tour guide of Hampton Court. Friendly, outgoing, and extremely knowledgeable about British history. Covering "everything Henry" with Shiela - Shiela Dunsmoore was very personable and went deeply into the history that interested us. In about three hours she covered Henry VIII and the wives and a lot more. We focused on the Tudor portion of the buildings. We were well satisfied.
