Cusco - Lago Humantay - Collpapampa
SORAYPAMPA - We will pick you up at 3 a.m. to transfer it to Soraypampa, approximately 4 hours of travel to Soraypampa, which is the place where the walk begins.

Cusco - Lago Humantay - Collpapampa
SORAYPAMPA - We will pick you up at 3 a.m. to transfer it to Soraypampa, approximately 4 hours of travel to Soraypampa, which is the place where the walk begins.
Once in Soraypampa, you will join the Salkantay group for breakfast and then get ready for the 20 kilometer hike.
Around 6:30 a.m., the trek to the highest point of all of Salkantay begins.
After 3 hours of hiking we will reach the top to celebrate and enjoy beautiful views of the Salkantay mountain and once at the top you have the opportunity to make an offering to the APUS (Andean gods).
Then we will walk downhill to reach 2900 m / 9510 ml in total 15 km of trekking downhill.
It will be done in two sections, the first section will be from the top to the lunch point.
After lunch, 3 more hours to the camp called Chawllay.
On the way, you will appreciate the different types of landscapes such as glacier mountains, grassy hills.
Once at the camp, relax if you wish while the cooks prepare the delicious dinner.
Chaullay - Santa Teresa - Hidroeléctrica - Aguas Calientes
Santa Teresa - At 7:00 a.m. begins the hike to Sahuayaco beach for approximately 5 hours along the Santa Teresa valley, formed by the Salkantay River.
You will have the opportunity to see plantations of coffee, bananas, avocados, coca, passion fruit and much more.
After five hours of hiking you will arrive at La Playa Sahuayaco, from where you will take local transportation for one hour to Santa Teresa, where you will stop for lunch.
Aguas Calientes - You will continue by car 45 minutes more to Hidroeléctrica and then walk 3 hours more along the train tracks to the town of Aguas Calientes on the flat road.
Then we will take you to the hotel to shower and relax.
Machu Picchu - Cusco
Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Last day! We will wake up very early this morning for our visit to famous Machu Picchu, where we will have a guided tour of the citadel to see and learn more about the temples, terraces, and all of the incredible stone structures that make Machu Picchu a Wonder of the World.
In the afternoon, we will return to Aguas Calientes. We will have some time for lunch (not included), which is the perfect opportunity to explore the local restaurants. We then take the train to Ollantaytambo, On the way back, we can enjoy the incredible landscape of the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival at the train station.
