An incredible Journey! - What a trek! My wife and I had such an incredible time! Wili was an absolute legend! He made our time so enjoyable and has a great sense of humour. Highlight was the climb up to Salkantay Pass. We were here in the rainy season and got to see snow at the top of the climb. Humantay lake and Machu Picchu were also incredible. I definitely recommend the 4 night/5 day journey.

Amazing Experience, See You Next Time! - Highest possible recommendation for Bucket List, I'd call it the trip of a lifetime if I wasn't already planning to come back. Thanks Willie!

Better book somewhere else - Scammers (1), incompetent (2) and just middle men (3) - better book somewhere else. (1) Scammers - After booking and payment, you are informed during the briefing about many payments that were not mentioned on the website: 1.A) 9$ for “entry” Humantay Lagoon, while in fact entrance was free and we did that without the guide (that is really well visible hike, so no need). That was intencional lie, to get us to pay more for something that does not exist. In the end, after confrontation and argument, they did return money, but that costed us nerves. 1.B) 15$ to have train earlier than 19:00. On their website it is written the train will be in afternoon. 19:00 is not afternoon, it is already evening. We specifically booked train as we wanted the views, but at 19:00 it is already dark so we needed to pay extra. Cherry on the top we got the “cliff” side windows, not the view one. 1.C) 50 soles to get to hot springs. In the itinerary the place of accomodation was supposed to be Santa Teresa, which is just next to hot springs. But it was changed without any notice to Lucmabamba, which is an hour bus drive. When asked, the response was they always stay in Lucmabamba (so why the website says something different?). 1.D) 25 soles for transport of your stuff on the last day (10 soles up to hydroelectro + 15 soles to Aguas Caliente), even though their website the transport is whole way included in price Altogether it comes to around 40$ per person. Maybe it is not much for some (10% of original price), but it would be better if it would be mentioned upfront. (2) Incompetent - everything we asked, we got incorrect. As an example: on the briefing the person, who said that will be our guide (he was not), told us that we could bring the tripod, etc. On the plus side, they did book us best Machu Picchu tickets possible - circuit 2 at 6am. (3) Middlemen - On a night before the trek, already after briefing, we got message, that someone else will pick up us from hotel. It turned up we were “sold” to other company for the tour. Instead of max 12 people group was 15, the itinerary was different and probably we would get better deal if we booked directly with KB Adventure. Definitely it would cost us less stres. All in all discussion with the Peru Bucket List lasted every day, till last day, occupied us during trek when we wanted to be cut off from internet, but we could not.
