Great overview to see Mombasa in a day - We had a full day with our guide Bingo. We had a great itinerary as described on Viator. There was some confusion about what we needed to pay for, but the company refunded us for the entrance fees. The only thing I probably wouldn’t recommend is Haller Park, but that is personal preference. It is a popular destination for tourists so I understand why it’s included.

very insightful and knowledgable overview of history of Indian influence in Mombasa and history of Mombasa - Fanju Nzomo, our guide was very knowledgable and interesting. He kept us safe on the narrow streets of an old Mombassa and insight of the Port too. The great security and upgrade of facilities made it possible for us to experience the history of old Mombassa in very friendly and welcoming environment. Fanju answered all our questions and told us many interesting stories to make the history alive for us. He took us to the fish market and spice market and we followed him through the narrow historical streets where he shared historical bits about this amazing city that has become the melting pot of many cultures and civilisations. Thank you Fanju, you have truly made our day the one we never forget:) Salim was confident, calm and reassuring driver who has driven us to every corner to Mombassa from the craft community centre throughout the old city to Haller's park on the other side. Thank you Salim Athunani for your excellent driving skills and calmness among the madness of everyday African style traffic:)

Tour of Mombasa and Haller Park - I travelled with my 20 year old daughter. Our guide for the day ,Bill, arrived on time in a comfortable car. During the drive to Mombasa Bill gave us interesting facts and pointed out buildings of interest. On arriving we were met by a city guide who gave us a very comprehensive tour of Fort Jesus and the Old Town. After visiting the famous elephant tusks and a couple of Hindu temples we spent the afternoon at Haller Park, a haven of wildlife. Bill knew his way around the park and was able to show us everything in the most comfortable way on an extremely hot day. We had the delight of seeing giraffes, crocodiles, lizards, birds, butterflies, snakes, wilder beasts monkeys, tortoise and much more. Finally, after a great day, Bill dropped us back at our hotel. A great day!

Excellent Tour Guide and Driver! - The tour was wonderful and so was our guide and driver! Our tour guide was Shee and our driver Joshua! Shee is very knowledgeable of the area and the history. They gave us a world wind tour and were extremely accommodating to our requests, questions, and desire for an experience through Mombasa. It was like a private tour.

Well organised tour with great driver... -
Well organised tour with great driver and guide - both spoke very good English and were interesting to talk to. We were able to customise the tour to suit what we wanted to do and spent time in local markets as we were interested in food and spices etc. Vehicle was new, comfortable and good air conditioning and a welcome relief after we had been walking we spent most of the tour walking but I'm sure you could spend less if you preferred. The inclusions in the tour were all worth visiting especially the hindu temple but the best value was in walking in the back streets / markets - having an individual guide with you really helps and he was very protective of us when required but let us bargain / buy things as well on our own.

Great driver - Our driver was very nice and made us feel good. Unfortunately the carkey did not work, so we lost a lot of time and did not make it to Haller Park. The driver was very very Sorry, Even though we were ok about it. He even offered to pick us up the day after, for a new tour. We had a nice time, and we ended the day happy. Should we mention something not good it would be that the office did not contact me after the tour, even though the tour did not go as planed. Furthermore they should have been more helpful, when we waiting for the car to work. Finally it would have been nice with a car with working seatbelts and airconditioning. The 3 stars has absolutely nothing to do with the driver, he was great, only because the office did not do anything

Fun! - I really liked this little day trip. My driver was so friendly and so was the old town tour guide. I learned so much about Mombasa in general. I would recommend to anyone! I did spend too much on spices though. I am technically a Kenya Citizen right now, so I think this is a bit over priced but it is all around a good time and would tell people to do this!

Amazing - First of all Mombasa is too hot and humid. But places like wild waters make you cool down and chill in water slides and other activities. Mamba village is east africa's biggest crocodile park. and best time to visit is 5p.m where they feed crocs. Both wild water and Mamba village are side by side so this can be done in such a way full day you can chill at wild waters and then move to Mamba village .and there is a village restaurant where you will get to eat meats like zebra, crocodile, ostrich etc. Heller park is beautiful place where you can spend min 3 hours. Local market is full of spices, dry fruits, fish and others.Cashewnut, achari, mbuya are special attractions if you enjoy such.Fort jesus is a fort located on island. and made by Italian Designer. So overall mombasa is full of adventure and if you like sky diving , snorkeling, water diving is also available .Best restaurants are Ruberto's Nyali, Namaskar, Yul's, Bollywood Bites, Singh Restaurant , Bhagwanji, Blueroom, Cafe Mocha and english point marina Have fun guys.
