- Parque da Mina - Parque da Mina is a Theme Park that has been welcoming visitors since July 2005. It is situated in Vale de Boi, close to the renowned Caldas de Monchique Thermal Village, just 9 km from Portimão in the Algarve. The park spans an old farm covering 5 hectares, boasting a rich ethnic and cultural history along with a stunning natural and scenic environment.
Visitors can explore the diverse Flora and Fauna of Parque da Mina, with opportunities to interact with and feed the farm animals, or enjoy a picnic in the park’s outdoor areas.
The House Museum offers a glimpse into a furnished ancestral home from the early eighteenth century and showcases the traditional professions of Monchique, such as Carvoeiro, which are also featured throughout the park.
In addition to an entertaining mirror maze, guests can discover the decommissioned ore extraction mine, which inspired the park’s name.
Lastly, visitors can enjoy the view from our gazebo, offering a panoramic view of the park and its surroundings, and experience the thrill of crossing our suspension bridges over a waterfall.
