Interesting and engaging visit to Mongolia's ancient capital - Great trip to Kharkhoren at the end of a business visit to Mongolia, provided by Danista Nomads. The team of Saruul (guide) and Pugi (driver) were great - very cheerful throughout 800 km driving in 2 days. Saruul gave us some information, but not too much - she was well informed about history/culture, maybe a bit less so about wildlife. It was a pleasure to spend a couple of days with them. They were flexible about including a small extra visit to another location that I wanted to see.
The only downside of this particular trip is that there's a lot of driving, but that's Mongolia for you. It's a big old country. We knew what to expect, and the views throughout the drive to Kharkhoren and back were always interesting.
One other note - Jagaa kindly highlighted how we could save some money on our booking, which was much appreciated.
Mongolia is a great country to visit, and thank you to Danista Nomads.
