Journey to Elsen-Tasarkhai Semi-Desert
Elsen Tasarkhai - Today, guests will be picked up from their hotel and driven to the Elsen-Tasarkhai semi-desert. This area is encircled by sand dunes, hills adorned with rare bushes, and a small forest by a river. It offers a unique blend of Mongolian mountains, forests, and Gobi-like landscapes all in one place.
Upon arrival, there will be a one-hour camel ride, followed by a walk on the sand dunes to explore the area. Experience the lifestyle of a nomadic family in a traditional Mongolian ger and unwind in the beautifully tranquil nature.
Dinner will feature a traditional Mongolian BBQ. Overnight stay will be at a nomadic family’s ger camp.
Journey to Hustai National Park
Hustai National Park - After enjoying a delightful breakfast this morning, the journey continues to Hustai NP. The park is situated in the foothills of the northern Khentii mountain range, where visitors can observe wild horses known as Takhi, or Przewalski horses, globally.
These wild horses thrive independently in nature, having been successfully reintroduced to their native land after 40 years of extinction. The Takhi population has now exceeded 450. A visit to a local museum is included. Overnight stay will be at a Hustai National Park tourist camp.
Journey to Chinggis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex and Terelj National Park
Gorkhi-Terelj National Park - After breakfast this morning, the journey proceeds to the Chinggis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex, constructed in 2008 to commemorate the eight-hundredth anniversary of the Mongolian Empire’s founding and its founder, Chinggis Khan. This enormous stainless steel statue weighs 250 tons and stands 40 meters (131 feet) tall, making it the tallest statue of a man on horseback in the world. Shopping opportunities are available if desired. Then, the journey continues to Terelj National Park.
Terelj National Park is considered one of the most beautiful destinations, combining sharp mountains with granite cliffs, forests, and rivers. Upon arrival, visitors will see the Aryabal Buddhist meditation temple. The park offers stunning and peaceful views from the temple’s summit. Afterward, guests will be driven back to the city and transferred to their hotel.

This tour begins and concludes in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. Participants will spend a night with a nomadic family, immersing themselves in their culture and traditions, and savor a traditional Mongolian BBQ. The following day, the tour will proceed to Hustai National Park, which is home to the reintroduced wild Takhi horses (Przewalski’s horses). A visit to a local museum is also included before unwinding at the park’s tourist camp.
On the third day, the tour will explore Terelj National Park, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, and visit the Chinggis Khan Equestrian Statue, the tallest statue of a man on horseback in the world. A hike to the Aryabal Buddhist Temple will offer panoramic views. After lunch, participants will enjoy a one-hour horseback ride.
Finally, the tour will return to Ulaanbaatar city, approximately 60km away, where participants will be dropped off at their hotel or any other preferred location. Thank you very much for choosing to travel with us!
