Bogd Khaan Palace Museum of Mongolia - Our guide and bus driver will pick you up at the hotel in the morning to start visiting the places listed in the Day 2 tour outline. Depending on city traffic, not all places may be available to visit, but we will try to cover as many as possible when you return to the city at the end.

Travel to Bayan-Ulgii Province, the westernmost part of Mongolia. (3 hours by domestic airplane).

Olgiy - Our local guides and drivers will meet you at the airport in Ulgii. Check in at the Ger camp/Hotel located near Ulgii town. Meet the team for a welcoming introduction and briefing on the tour program. Enjoy a city tour in Ulgii town, visiting the local museum and shops.

Breakfast at Ger camp/hotel. Start driving to Ikh Oygur Mountain through Ulaankhus Village, Sogog.

Altai Tavan Bogd National Park - The road is an unpaved country road. You will pass three villages on the way. Petroglyphs can be seen along the route. Reach the Park ranger and camp near Potaniny Glacier. Set up camp and have dinner. Destination: 260 km/6-7 hours. Once you reach the destination, our team will set up tents for you and prepare dinner.

Altai Tavan Bogd National Park - We will explore petroglyphs, bal bal stones, nomads, Kazakh families, and the Glacier.

Hiking up to mountains, and on the glacier, sightseeing.

Drive towards Khoton, Khurgan Lakes. Petroglyphs, bal-bal stones. Destination is about 250 km/7 hours. Stay in tents.

Hiking to Ikh Turgen waterfall. Enjoying the lakes. Drive back to Ulgii town. Explore eagle hunting techniques.

Olgiy - Today you will hike about 5 miles from the base camp to the waterfall and back. Enjoy nature, take photographs, and see the waterfall. Once you return to base camp, pack up and start driving to Ulgii, the province center. Visit nomads and families on the way and explore Kazakh traditions, costumes, lifestyles, and eagle hunting techniques, skills, and stories. Stay in Ger camp/Hotel.

Fly back to UB. Check in hotel. Rest.

Ulaanbaatar - You will check in 2 hours before the flight. The flight schedule will be confirmed before your trip to Mongolia starts. Our guides in UB will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner will be provided depending on your arrival time. The guide will introduce the plan for the next day.

Ulaanbaatar - Arrival day in UB. It takes 3 hours by airplane.

Leisure day in UB. Short trip to Chinggis Khaan Statue near UB. Stay in the same hotel.

Genghis Khan Statue Complex - Visit the Chinggis Khaan statue, located about 30 km away.

Service begins at Chinggis Khaan International Airport, where the team welcomes guests upon arrival. From that moment, transportation within UB city, 4WD minivans/land cruisers, experienced guides, cooks, and logistical support are provided until departure. Guests are offered three meals daily, including vegetarian, halal, regular, and traditional Mongolian options, tailored to their preferences. On long driving days, meals will be either freshly prepared or packed, depending on weather conditions. Two days of tours in UB city are scheduled: one at the start of the trip and another at the end. To avoid potential issues with flight schedule changes, we refrain from booking international and domestic flights under tight schedules, ensuring guests do not miss their flights. Travelers are advised to bring essential items such as wind and rainproof clothing, hiking boots, cameras, and sleeping bags. Food, kitchen facilities, and two-person tents are provided.
