The pursuit of the Summer black truffle, also known as Scorzone, is particularly fitting for the sunlit slopes facing south. These truffles provide an excellent training opportunity for dogs: discovering a “tartufaia” leads to a succession of finds, thrilling everyone involved!
7.00pm Conclusion of the truffle search and a modest meal featuring truffle samples
9.00pm Return to Montalcino
The excursion is scheduled every Monday and Wednesday from January through October.
Upon request, the tour can be arranged for any day of the week.

Duration: 5/6 hours
Truffles found during the tour are not included in the cost of the excursion.
Tour schedules are not affected by weather conditions,
Appropriate attire for the weather is advised, especially hiking footwear.
Bringing personal dogs is not allowed
Minimum participant age: 8 years old. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The tour includes navigating rough paths over hilly and irregular terrain in the forest. Although the hike is not overly demanding, it is not suitable for individuals with mobility impairments.
