Great experience with Esteban! - If you are ready to go on a great guided tour, choose for Esteban! We did a few guided tours in Costa Rica, but for sure Esteban was our best guide! He saw many animals so quickly! He taught us a lot. 🐦

Best nature walk in Monteverde…made better by Esteban! - Our family took a private birding tour with Esteban and really enjoyed our time! We went to Curi Cancha and also stopped near Stella’s. Esteban could identify everything by call, see something everywhere and help us see it too. He took time to show you how to photograph well with your phone and his scope. He spent more time where he knew you were interested and still managed to get you to see unusual sightings…like the yellow-eared toucanette and early arriving quetzal. He knew a lot about the plants and other animals as well. We highly recommend a private tour with Esteban!

Top birder - Esteban is a wonderful birder and great person with whom to enjoy learning about Monteverde. I had excellent experiences with him for two days. On the first day, we did birding with my wife. Esteban did a superb job of working with her mobility limitations. We saw fantastic birds, including a pair of Resplendent Quetzals in the Monteverde Reserva, which was my wife’s dream sighting. Esteban said that he has been birding since he was 6 years old and his experience shines through. I noticed several times that we saw targeted birds like the Three-wattled Bellbird and the Keel-billed Toucan that other guides didn’t find for their clients. Esteban’s also captured good photos for me with my iPhone on his telescope, including a video and stills of the male Resplendent Quetzal emerging from the nest. Wow!

Disappointing experience - Estaban cancel the tour in the last minute without any reason Costa Rica is all about nature and wildlife but Estaban did not provide it
