WONDERFUL VACATION AWAYS WHEN I STAY AT THE HOLIDAY DAY INN RESORT MONTEGO BAY JAMAICA - Holiday Inn Resort in Montego Bay is home away from home for me and my family. The staff the grounds the hospitality is fantastic,I’ve been to this hotel many times and there is nothing that I can say about this hotel that makes me unhappy. The rooms are very clean, the stuff take the time to make you stay feel very at home. I love the variety of food on the buffet and the other restaurant that’s on the resort. The Caribbean or Jamaica night they have on the beach once a week it’s phenomenal, the variety of food you have to choose from and the entertainment is awesome, there is something for everyone. The beach and pools are beautiful and the view from your room is breathtaking. My husband favorite place to eat in the daytime is at the jerk cut or the fish and chips café, we enjoy every moment of our vacation when we go to the resort you should give it a try and see if yourself. I’ve seen some people have a lot of complaints about the resort, but as we all know you can’t please everyone no matter how hard you try, something we have to have patients and understanding, we’re just coming out of a pandemic and everyone just like here in our country is trying to get back to normal. So if you decide to go to holiday Inn Montego Bay go with the intention you’re going to enjoy your vacation, enjoy the beach and enjoy the sunshine and be thankful we are able to make it there safely. Overall good for the money I paid t - Had a fabulous time in the Holiday Inn. The Staff were very friendly and very helpful. And entertainment was very Good as well. I was very inpressed with the food In their Italian restaurant and all of the other restaurant in the time I spent there.The bedrooms was ok. Would like to say thanks you to Miss Shakeria Burchell for Making me and my sister feel very welcome at the Holiday Inn.

My 1st visit to MoBay - Listen...when you arrived to this property remember that you are on island time and do not rush to be checked in or anything else. The lobby has a good open foyer and if you look straight ahead you can see the pool & the ocean. Just take in the scenery and be patient while your checking in is all I'm saying. This property is very clean I trusted the cleanliness from the moment I stepped on the scene. The view is everything. The staff is very nice but they are not eager to help you are on their time and I respect that. I recommend you get a massage it was awesome. Make sure to tip the staff.

Adequate stay - Ok first the good: property itself is clean. Most of staff are hospitable. Food everywhere. Something to do at all times. The atm gives only US dollars. Good place of you like to drink and watch the shows. Always ladies with crafts and such selling souvenirs. Shuttle free to Rose Hall. Ok now for the bad: keep in mind this is a holiday Inn and is considered cheap. Food at “specialty restaurants is awful. Like you want to spit it out awful. We booked at seafood restaurant and they had a hockey puck of a piece of salmon. Def previously frozen. We got up and went to buffet. Buffet food is your average buffet food. But lots of it. Only open a few hours at a time so get it while you can. Also the buffet is constantly running out of cups for drinks and silverware. You have to hunt it down. The staff couldn’t care less either lol. If you need something and they don’t have it they shrug their shoulders and walk away. The room: adequate. The bathroom is disgusting and tiny! I have pics. Also you won’t sleep til about midnight since that’s when the entertainment stops because it’s loud as all get out. This is all preference so if you don’t mind then you might be ok here. It’s a good family place for those on a budget, however, if you leave the hotel, everything is expensive because they really overcharge the tourists. If someone in your party is a foodie, they will not be happy at this hotel. Jamaican food is the best. Enough said. I’m not talking about the hotel food either. Get out and get authentic food. The luminous boat tour had the best jerk in the world. This review is from a couple with no children who doesn’t drink at all. Overall liked it but because of bathroom would not stay again.

Worse of Worst - Entertainment team were marvelous. This hotel management had changed and it is gone to the worse of the worse. I’ve wrote to corporate and everyone ignore my email. Cleaning services only work consistently if money presented under the table when they do clean might as well it was not done at all; towels were not enough and washcloth were not often given; there were times I watched clean rooms across from us next to us and our room was not cleaned at times. I had a friend there that was paying the person and she faithfully showed up on time and when she going to be off she put someone there; front desk staff spoke us like we are aliens as if we are not both the same skin complexion however, it’s all about money and skin color for them. Also, based on how you book your tickets it’s how people are treated therefore since we were booked through Expedia we are garbage.

Stay somewhere else! - Beautiful beaches - awful hotel. We had a vacation here in 2014 and loved every minute, but on our return in 2022 it had seriously deteriorated and this was mainly due to the very bad service from the staff. Also Constant music and noise and unable to get any sleep, music still going on after 2 am and rooms not sound proofed. Location is still beautiful vistas, but service, well generally there is none! Just a huge amount of excuses and we were told to call back tomorrow and we will resolve it. Then the next day no resolution and same answer, call back tomorrow! Got this day after day! This last visit was one of the most trying and stressful holidays ever and I’ve done a lot of holidays to Jamaica and the Caribbean! None were like The Holiday Inn Montego bay 2022! My advice - stay somewhere else!
