Highlights

Your horseback riding adventure begins with pickup at select Negril hotels. Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the clubhouse which hosts a restaurant, gift shop and bar. After signing your waiver, get seated in a 4×4 safari vehicle and enjoy a short commute to our horse stable. Your guide will help you choose your horse and get them ready while you wait by our stable lounge. No experience is necessary. Guides lead all rides and are accompanied by a backup rider. Get familiar with this activity before heading out on the trail and receive a safety briefing. Everybody is obliged to wear a helmet for safety. Walk down to Salmon Point fishing village and ride the horses into the ocean where the horses love to play. This is an amazing and unique experience. Trod back to the stable where a safari jeep will pick you up and take you back to the clubhouse for refreshments and to purchase photographs before departing for your hotel. Additional Information

This 45-minute guided tour will leave a lasting impression, even after your vacation ends. After a quick introduction to the horses, you’ll be ready to ride. No prior experience is necessary, but the trails can also test the skills of seasoned riders. Stroll down to Salmon Point fishing village and take the horses into the ocean, where they enjoy playing.

Fun times - My friends and I did atv, horseback riding and zip lining and we had such an amazing time. I can’t wait to return and experience this again.

Birthday Trip - This was a wonderful trip however it was a little far from the resort. I felt we spent about two hours in travel and not enough time on the horses. However, everyone was very sweet and helpful.

Horseback riding and ATVs - James had so many fun activities for us to do, horseback riding and ATVs were a blast! We had great tour guides (Keith, Shine, Ryan, & Birdie)! Highly recommend this if you’re in Jamaica!

Finally a horseback tour that can cater to experienced riders! - I have 15 years of horse ownership and riding experience and I’ve never had a guided horse tour that was actually fun until now. This one was unique because each rider had their own guide and that guide was the caretaker of the horse so they knew each other well. They really tailor the experience to your level. I rode Lasko and my guide was Jermaine, we did a lot of galloping and racing down the paths. Jermaine was happy to run ahead and let me do my thing once he determined I could ride. My husband who has a little experience with horses also had a great time testing his limits under the supervision of his guide. We got to canter side by side and my husband was so proud. The swimming was also fantastic and the horses are extremely well trained and nothing bothers them. They are happy to do their jobs and well taken care of. I had fun talking to the guides about their care and training, they were very knowledgeable. This is a must do if you love horses and want a memorable ride. The horses are safe for all riders and are honest enough for anyone to manage.

Just Alright - We booked this excursion through our hotel. We were picked up from our resort along with people from other hotels. The ride was longer than we thought it would be but the driver was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Once we arrived there was a little confusion but we got to where we had to. The horseback ride was a little short but the water portion was amazing. The horses truly love the water. The young men who lead you are very nice. This was a fun excursion but not one I would be rushing to repeat.

Terrible - Well, they say 1 hour and 30 minutes trip but it took 8 hours to go , make the horse riding and come back to the resort . I think they should be more clear about time. I lost another ticket that I booked . Also it’s not 45 mits , it was only 20 mits. I don’t recommend this for anyone

Do Not Waste Money on this Activity! - Complete waste of time, we were on the horses for at most 20 minutes and most of that time was spent waiting for people to get their pictures taken. We were only advised that the horses would not be swimming as we were waiting for the tour to start and we were not given the option of replacing with another activity. The total distance of the ride was max 1 km. Staff seem fed up and un motivated. We spent a lot of time waiting for the shuttle to take us to an activity. Also included was a visit to the mineral baths you are only allowed to stay for 5 minutes and the told it's time to leave. There is a kids water park but it looked pretty lame. Give this activity a miss, very over priced for what you actually get.
