Bamboo raft trip on the Martha Brae - The trip on the raft was relaxing and enjoyable. The raft captain was skilled and charming. However, the long wait to start spoiled the outing, as we stood around in the hot sun with biting mosquitoes while the passengers from cruise ships were given precedence over us. The five or ten minutes our driver said we would have to wait stretched to well over and hour, for me, my husband and a family with 3 young kids. The lady in the office was unfriendly and impolite. Not recommended for seniors like us or young children if you have to wait longer than 10/15 minutes.

No Tour of Grounds - This was a lovely ride down the river and our raft captain, Trevor, was delightful. However, the literature stated that it included a visit to Miss Martha's herb garden, which wasn't offered to us. Also, the price of $65 for 2 adults seemed expensive for this attraction. Although we enjoyed it, I wouldn't put it high on your list of "must do's".
