- Montepulciano - Arrive in Montepulciano around 11:00 AM and visit the first wine cellar. There will be an explanation of local products accompanied by a tasting of four or five glasses of wine, followed by a light lunch.
Arrive at the top of Montepulciano in Piazza Grande, where you can explore the beautiful square and the 15th-century Sant’Agostino church.
At the next wine cellar, you can tour an underground winery and a 3rd-century BC Etruscan tomb. Here, you can also taste three types of wine.
- Historic Centre of the City of Pienza - Arrive in Pienza, a town renowned for its pecorino cheese production. Explore the town, enjoy some free time for shopping, and have a small cheese tasting at one of Pienza’s most famous cheese stores.
- Podere Il Casale - After visiting Pienza, depart for a cheese farm in the picturesque Val d’Orcia area. Tour the factory to see the production of pecorino and ricotta cheeses. After the tour, enjoy a light lunch with wine, prosciutto, salumi, and a selection of pecorino cheese. During lunch, take in one of the best views of the Orcia Valley from the beautiful terrace.
- Fortezza di Montalcino - Arrive in Montalcino after a scenic drive through Val D’Orcia, featuring stunning Tuscan landscapes. Visit the Brunello winery for a tour of the wine cellar, an explanation of the wine-making process, and a tasting of five different types of the region’s famous wines.
- Val d’Orcia - Enjoy a panoramic and scenic drive through one of Tuscany’s most beautiful landscapes, protected as a UNESCO site and featured in the film Gladiator with Russell Crowe.
