Just an incredible experience. - Oh my days what a trip! We were so lucky. The sea was so calm and we were lucky enough to witness humpback whales up close. So beautiful! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Boat only had around 20 people on it that made the trip so much easier. If you get the chance you have to go!

The WHALES - The very best! Of whale watching! “Joe” the deck man, was friendly, knowledgeable about the Monterey Bay, and confidant everyone has a great day on “Star of Monterey” it was my BFF 70th birthday, Thank you for the ride!!! Best to book during the week, but anytime is a great time!

Do not eat while in the... - Do not eat while in the boat. Unfortunately ended up 'feeding the fish '.otherwise, still worth whale watching.

Be sure to do it!!! - Very nice, cheerful gentlemen welcomed us at 10 am at the Wharf in the shop. A smaller boat then gave us almost three hours of unforgettable hours. I've been on other whale watching tours, this one was by far the best! We have seen many whales up close. The captain of the ship gently moved as close to the action as the animals allowed. We were expertly informed about the whales' way of life. That was the highlight for us after almost 4 weeks in the USA.

A wonderful 3hours. - We were on the boat Star of Monteray which skipper Joey was in charge of.We certainly had an excellent trip experiencing a feeding frenzy of whales sea.ions and birds. And even better which also saw Orcas and humpbacks.Wow what an experience.

Wonderful tour in Monterey! - This trip was amazing. Captain Joe knew where the whales are and we were lucky to see a handful of them. What an experience it was !

Go for whale watching with Chris's fishing and whale watching, Monterey, CA - Out of many choices, we decided to go with Chris's whale watching tour. Our over all experience was positive and we recommend Chris's whale watching. To add more; crew was very kind and customer focused; made every attempt to make our trip memorable.

Great experience looking for whales and got some good photos - Great trip , took plenty of photos seeing the whales in their natural habitat along with many seals. Do feel the boats should sell water though.

A unique and exciting experience - It is an experience to be had at least once in a lifetime! Very exciting and above all it is beautiful to see whales in their natural habitat! You have to cover very well because it was windy and cold. Not recommended if you suffer the boat: it is done up and down for three hours.

Disappointment - I booked this tour thinking I would get a chance to see a handful of whales up close as the pictures online showed. When we boarded the boat we decided to stand on the left side of the boat. This was a mistake. Once we got to the spot the whales were hanging out in the boat was only facing in a way where the people on the right side could see. I stand 5’2 so I couldn’t see anything the entire time. The ladies next to me couldn’t either. ALL the views were in the left side so the people on the right were basically tippy towing trying to see. We went inside to take a rest from standing and also from frustration from not being able to see and the only table that was available on the boat had a bucket of throw up that was stinking up the cabin. It was such a disappointing experience. If you go STAND ON THE RIGHT SIDE
