From the parking area, proceed to 66 Fishermans Wharf. Look for the BLUE building named Discovery Whale Watch.

Join an evening tour to explore Monterey Bay in search of magnificent marine life! While the main focus is on whales, you might also encounter dolphins, sea lions, sea otters, and sea birds. End the tour with a breathtaking sunset view over the water.

Monterey Bay is renowned as one of the top destinations globally for whale watching, and during the summer and fall months, visitors can also enjoy stunning sunset views. Each tour is guided by a Naturalist or Marine Biologist who expertly locates wildlife, shares intriguing information about the animals, and is ready to answer any questions. Our smaller boats ensure a more intimate and personalized experience for every guest.
