A recent review from November 2024 captures the essence of this experience:
This was a wonderful addition to our trip to Italy. San Gimignano really is the postcard of Tuscany - the walls are amazing, the architecture is beautiful, the churches are astounding, and the gelato was to die for! Monteriggioni is a small but lovely fortress-town, with scenic views from the walls. The winery we stopped at was a delight - great food, excellent wine, and Simone did an amazing job teaching us about their process.
Savor the Flavors of Chianti
On January 5th, the weather turns more introspective, with overcast skies and a chance of rain, making it an ideal day to indulge in indoor activities.
