Best tour of our whole trip!! - Our favorite tour between La Fortuna, Monteverde, and Manuel Antonio combined! It felt exciting, and we loved moving from place to place to find animals. We read some reviews that didn’t like the pacing, and said it felt too touristic, but it felt perfect for us and was so fun. We saw sloths, scorpions, two types of snakes, porcupines, sleeping toucans and other birds, and Costa Rican raccoons. The Kinkajous were elusive, which makes us want to come back the next time we’re here! Thanks Danny for a knowledgable and fun experience!!

Amazing! - We saw so much wildlife. The guides split into smaller groups, but work together via radio to share when they spot things - doing their best to help you see as much as possible. We saw various insects, tarantulas, scorpions, snakes, birds and more!

We had fun! - This was a little scary! But, the guide did a really nice job of finding animals. A few people have mentioned the forest being busy, and it was a little busy with different groups. I don't think that was a negative though as we only passed other groups twice and the guides all helped each other find animals. We saw quite a few animals, including a sloth! Our guide did a nice job. Be ready to walk quickly through terrain with roots and that can be a little slippery. I would not have been able to do this tour after my knee surgery a few years ago. Bring a good flashlight!

Good value, fun and safe. - Good value, fun and safe. The park is on the edge of town but it has a interesting array of species - we saw green snakes, scorpions, lots of different birds and some mammals. It is quite busy with other groups going around too and more expensive night hike experiences are available but our guide was enthusiatic and knowledgable and we had a great time and really enjoyed the night time jungle sounds.

Excellent - The experience is amazing. The guides are very responsible to the group and to nature. We couldn’t see many animals, but we understand that it doesn’t depend on the guides, yet the experience was very good.

Saw amazing animals - We had a great time! The experience went by so fast. We got lucky and saw a sloth and kinkajou right off the bat and many more interesting insects and animals. Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable.

great fun but not an adventure - Was an interesting hike. Some animals, sleeping birds, and a viper in a tree. Area is very dry so not cloud forest. Guide was entertaining and informative. He went out of his way to find scorpions which live on the trunks of the trees. We looked at stars which was fun. Slow enough that it was easy to keep up yet fast enough that we covered a lot of ground. It is on a private lot close to town that is used only for the tours.

Super-commercial touristy yet fun - A super tourist and commercial activity. Four or five groups of about 10 people at a time on a fairly small site, so you regularly encounter another group with flashlights. But still it's fun! We saw a lot of things. A kinkajou, sleeping hummingbird on nest, sleeping moth, trogon and orange billed thrush. And a Scorpio, rainfrog, great grasshopper and a sloth (three-toe). We would never have discovered that ourselves. The guide was enthusiastic and fine. The transport, and the reception too. Just fun to do so.
