The only Tour to do in Monteverde - George is the best! - George is the best guide, no question! He brings such passion and knowledge to you tour through the cloud forest that you won't want your time with him to end. We have been in Costa Rica now for 3 weeks, visited all of the parks and had tour guides in all of them and George far exceeded all that we had before,,,and we've had some really god guides, George is just that good!

The best experience in Costa Rica - This was by far the best experience we had in CR ( and we had awesome experiences in CR)! Our guide, Roy was super knowledgeable and very friendly! we got to see some incredible birds even though it was raining and foggy! The booking process with George was incredible, he helped us arrange transportation and was very friendly! Well worth the price and 100% recommend!

Highly Recommended! - I would highly recommend Jorge as a bird tour guide for anyone from a novice birder to an expert who just needs a guide for local knowledge. He also enriched the tour with information about plants and animals other than birds in the area. And finally he gave some great tips for additional days during our vacation.

Family Tour in Monteverde - Jorge was fantastic! We went on a private tour in Monteverde Reserve with Jorge. We have two young kids (1 and 4) and Jorge was so wonderful and patient with our kids and our slow pace. Our kids loved him and the youngest wanted to hold his hand during the hike. Jorge is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to show us lots of birds, animals, nests, etc. He knows so much about the cloud forest and it was fun to learn just a bit from him! Highly recommend Jorge as a guide!!

Hire a guide in order to enjoy the experience - Elbert was our guide and he saw things we would never have seen on our own. The diversity of both flora and fauna is all around you, but it takes an expert to fully explain what you are seeing. With his help, we had a great 2 hour stroll thru the cloud forest.

George knows the cloud forest! - George was amazing! We communicated before the tour and he offered to pre buy our entrance tickets to the park so we wouldn't have to wait in line. When we arrived it was easy to find him and the rest of our group. He made sure we weren't in big noisy crowds and led us down some quieter trials to find different species of plants and wildlife. We saw spider monkeys, a tarantula, a beautiful owl, several beautiful birds and even got to wait and watch for a hummingbird mama who had recently built a nest where she was raising her chicks. George told us about all the ways the ecosystem works together in this unique biodiverse forest. I was interested in everything he shared and really enjoyed conversing. We were all able to ask questions and he was able to thoroughly answer each one of them. I highly recommend this tour, it is worth every minute and a great value.

George was brilliant - George our guide was knowledgeable passionate and very friendly. We did three walks with him night and morning. He showed us all the highlights of the Cloud Forest and the Monte Verde area. Highly recommended.

We love George of the Cloud Forest! - George was kind, funny, and had such a wealth of interesting facts about the intricate relationships in the cloud forest. Also, hummingbirds are my new favorite animals thanks to the hummingbird gallery !! I loved this experience so much-I'm debating whether I enjoyed Monteverde even more than Corcovado! Highly recommend.

Incredible tour our family won’t forget! - Book your trip to Monteverde and explore the Cloud Forest with George! He knows every step and branch of the reserve like his own backyard; demonstrating great respect and deep knowledge of the plants and wildlife. Our host recommended and we were grateful to have George’s expertise in spotting and learning about the Resplendent Quetzel, Coati, Purple-throated mountain gem, many, many orchids and flowers, insects, tarantula, that we certainly would have otherwise missed.
Thank you for helping navigate a beautiful tour, engaging our kids with nature, and family pictures, George! All on short notice!
