Fun night tour - The night walk is a great tour and introduction to the wildlife in the cloud forest. Our tour guide Raul showed his passion for nature and had a great eye for detecting even the smallest creatures. The grounds are large enough that you never felt crowded by other visitors. The tour never felt rushed and is a great way to see wildlife from a close but safe distance.

10/10 experience - Our guide was named Raoul and we did this activity on July 14th, it was an amazing experience. Our guide was very informative and enthusiastic to show us the wildlife. Everybody in the group was very polite and excited to be there - we are so glad we got such a great group to go with!!

Johnny was the best! Awesome animals & photos - Awesome night tour with our guide Johnny! Johnny was so friendly and funny, and was the absolute best at spotting interesting bugs/animals. We saw nearly everything we had wanted to see - frogs, vipers, even a Tucan! He was also so good at taking photos for us! We unfortunately did not see a sloth that evening but Johnny searched very hard to find one for us, very much appreciated the effort (it does seem common that you could see a sloth though, Johnny mentioned he usually sees one 2-3 times a week).

Just go, you will not regret! - This tour was pretty awesome, Johny knew all about the animals, plants and explained so in a funny way. We saw so many animals, he could even point out the smallest animal with ease. I could recommend 10 times over, look no further! Greatings from the two playos, and if you read this thanks for the advice against sunburn at the beach :))

Best tour guide and tour in Monteverde! - Johnny was the absolute best tour guide - super knowledgeable and thoughtful of our surroundings and our group. He came in advance to scout some of the animals so we were able to see all the animals we wanted to see, including snakes, a sleeping toucan, and even a sloth and her cub. He also gave us a brief moment in an open field to do some star gazing, and we were lucky enough to see a couple falling stars. Absolutely one of the best tours we took in Costa Rica and would highly recommend to everyone!!

Best guide! - Johnny was an amazing guide. He found a lot of animals on our tour and explained everything very well. We enjoyed the walk very much. We saw a sleeping hummingbird, toucan, vipers, sloth, tarantula, a cool unicorn grasshopper, and so much more!

Unique experience - This tour was unique and by it's very nature is a tough to deliver. Our guide did a good job and was actively looking for things to show us. We saw sleeping birds (tucans ), frogs, snakes, and bioluminescent fungi among other things. Over all was a unique experience. My main take away was that I'd never go into the jungle alone at night.

Avoid this Fake experience - The entire thing was fake. The only moving animal during the entire walk was a sloth. The guide would just stop and start his scope and he would then show us an animal. There was no rhyme or reason as to how he found an animal at that place. Looking at the previous reviews revealed that they were showing all of us the same animals - sloth, red eyed frog, tarantula. Avoid this scam. We also did not like the fact that the guide kept the lights ON the sloth all the time.
