Best local tour - We had a great experience. Our guide, Dani, was very knowledgeable and patient with young children. In addition to fluorescent scorpions and a moss-like walking stick, we were lucky to see a sloth, a green viper, and even glimpse the elusive kinkajou. Highly recommend this tour and this operator. The location is easy to get to and from in the dark; if you have a vehicle, you will not need their transportation

Totally worth going back to the forest at night! - This was a really unique experience and definitely worth the money. The wildlife you will see during a night tour is completely different than what you would see during the day, and it’s even harder to spot on your own when you’re in the dark. I don’t know how the guides manage it. Johnny was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and determined for us to see everything we were hoping to see. We saw a wide variety of wildlife, and even some bioluminescent fungi, which I didn’t even know existed here. I would definitely do more night walks out in the forest here, they are such a cool and unique experience.

Amazing experience! - A night walk through the forest is really special and exciting (and even better when the rains falls down!!) Johnny is super lively, enthusiastic and very fun. His eye (and love) for even the smallest animals is incredible.. We saw amongst others frogs, a snake, a sloth, and a Kinkajou. Highly recommend to book this tour!

Super fun experience - Loved the night tour. We were a fairly small group and though there are lots of other groups around the reserve, at times it felt like we were the only people in there! Johnny is super knowledgeable and passionate about his work. We were lucky enough to spot so many things like vipers, spiders, armadillo, kakaju, possum and more. I would have stayed in there all night!

Great tour and guide - Great tour and a great guide. I was originally booked to go in the day but the weather wasn't on our side so switched to an evening tour. Johnny was incredibly kind to collect me from my hotel and was awesome to learn a bit about him and his family on the way up. Once he had us kitted out with torches we started the tour where he found slothes, toucan, plenty of frogs and snakes as well. He allowed us to use his scope to see in more detail and taught us how to take pictures with it.He is incredibly knowledgeable as a guide and a fabulous human would highly recommend :)

Good activity for family - Interesting night walk. Chaotic pick up, checkin, drop off situation. Guide (Johnny) was fantastic and we saw many things (sloths, frogs, snakes, birds, bugs). Would recommend. Caution that it’s wet and slippery on the trails, so avoid if you can’t deal with that.

As expected it was... - As expected it was raining and we were ok with that and prepared. We did see some frogs, bugs and birds. I did not feel the guide was the best. I have done this tour twice before, so i did have a comparison.I feel guides should not make comments about other country politics (never know who in the group), speak negatively about other tours in the area and felt a lot of information told to us could have been explained without jokes. I highly recommend the night tour to everyone, but maybe a different guide.
