Fantastic wildlife experience - This tour far exceeded our expectations. Our family of seven (teenage kids) hoped to see some birds and ideally monkeys, and Albert our private guide found much more. He was delightfully interactive in answering questions and spotted a viper, various frogs, insects, and several birds including a sleeping toucan. We admired how the guides help out one another to identify the wildlife.

Incredible experience! - One of the highlights of our trip! I’d absolutely recommend this tour. Mauricio was so knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. We saw lots of wonderful animals and creatures and loved getting to be in the forest at night. A must for part of your Costa Rican travels!

Rainforest night tour. - My wife and I took the night tour in Monteverde with Alexander and it was very good. Alexander was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and fauna. He was able to find many "hidden" animals like lizards, click beetles(with orange fluorescent eyes), Orange belly trogon, and many more. He provided us with flashlights and he used a laser pointer to point to the animals. He has a telescopic viewer that he uses to allow us to see everything up close and he even took pictures for us using our cell phones. Overall, 5 stars for a Pura Vida experience!

Worth every penny! - Elbert was a phenomenal tour guide and was incredible at finding animals in the forest. He was so knowledgeable and was able to answer each and every one of our questions. He made the experience very enjoyable and I would recommend this tour to anyone stopping in Monteverde. 10/10!

Top experience - We had a super guide ( Alexander ) and we saw many animals ( snakes etc) our highlight was a sloth mother with his baby. Alexander took a lot of time. That’s exactly what we wanted 😊

Saw lots of animals! - Mauricio was an incredible guide and was so passionate and keen to show us as many animals as possible, ranging from monkeys, vipers, lots of frogs and a few birds asleep (like a toucan and hummingbird, which was so sweet to see!). He was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me to take photos through his scope. Thanks so much Mauricio, we had a fab time!

Looking for animals at night - Very nice and very professional guide. We've seen a bunch of animals. Just a little disappointed I didn't see a tarantula. The guide told us from the start that there are nights when you see lots of animals and others when you see nothing. I think we were lucky!

Night is much more interesting than Day. - It was a rather unique experience for an evening tour, especially with a guide like Chris (of Three Brothers). Chris is very experienced and knowledgeable, super interactive, who often shared insights into animal behavior. I gained much appreciation for this trip to CR. Highly recommend Chris.

Ok but nothing special - I didn’t find it worth the cost. Expected more sounds and sightings. Guide did a good job of using the telescopic lens to view 5he animals he found.
