Blanco Tours - Best Private Group Tour in Montevideo - Our private group of 14 passengers from the HAL cruise ship had the pleasure of spending the day touring Montevideo and Bodega Bouza vineyard with Andres and Belen. We arranged our tour directly with Andres 6 months prior to the cruise, and he was able to customize the tour to accommodate all of our requested stops. It was an extremely comprehensive and enjoyable day of touring topped off by delicious tapas and wine tasting. Highly recommended!

Top Choice - Communication prior to our excursion was outstanding and set the right tone. Andres met us promptly at 9:00am as expected. The city tour was fantastic and so enjoyable! Andres was so informative and friendly with excellent English which made the tour so memorable. He allowed us to input on what we wanted to see and tailored our tour for a great experience of the city. From the onset, as the owner of the company, Andres wants your experience to be as friends would enjoy spending the day together. The van with huge windows for our group of four was new and extremely comfortable. Do not hesitate to book this tour. Andres is outstanding and a true ambassador for the beautiful city of Montevideo!

Excellent tour - Our tour with the Blanco tour was excellent. Comfortable car, Andrés was super attentive, knows the history and sights perfectly and does not need to know Spanish to understand what he speaks. This tour exceeded the expectations of everyone in my family. Super Indico!

Informative and Comprehensive - Montevideo, our first visit to this city in Uruguay. Pablo, from Blanco Tours, was our guide. He was friendly and very informative. Zabala Square was our first stop. There is a monument of the founder of Montevideo. We then visited the Plaza Matriz, which has the first potable water fountain. There was also a market to shop. The cathedral was closed so we didn’t get to see the inside. The lookout, Mirador Panoramico, showed us a panoramic view of entire city. The Plaza Independencia had a mausoleum and monuments, honoring Jose Artigas, the country’s hero. An adjacent street was accessed though the entry arch of the original city walls. We watched street performers dancing the Tango. We saw a beautiful beach and grassy area filled with little parrots. We then stopped at the stadium of Uruguay’s National Team futbol team. They hosted the first World Cup here in 1930 and won! I loved stopping at the Mercado Agricola. It was a great food hall. Having a beer there was a relaxing stop. We ended the tour with a stop outside of the Congress Building. We were lucky to see so much of this city in a short amount of time.
