Better than all other tours - Watch out. After this tour all others will pale in comparison. Bertrand makes the day. He is bilingual, comfortable, funny and knowledgeable. The tasting was great but the sweet spot is his mother’s lunch. A diverse and tasty meal in a lovely setting. Conversation over lunch with locals and foreigners was a treat. Thanks to all

Great wine tour - Bertrand provided a very informative and entertaining discourse on the Pic St Loup wine region and wines, as well as a broader discourse on the wine regions in France, the appellation controlle system and the hierarchy of wine brands in France. The tour is a small group tour and very causal offering opportunity to meet and chat with the other participants. It began with a tour of the vineyard and wine tasting at Chateau La Roque. Lunch was excellent, provided at the tour host's house, in a beautiful garden setting, followed by more wine tasting and a stroll around the historic village of Les Matelles. I would thoroughly recommend it.

World Class Tour - A half day tour turned into much more, as our tour guide, Bertrand, was in no hurry but rather focused on providing us an awesome experience. Our guide/driver was very engaging, very knowledgeable, and funny. We got to experience seeing workers at one vineyard hand-harvesting the grapes while allowing us to take pictures. We then had the opportunity at the winery to observe and learn about he the first stages of wine making as the grapes are brought in from the field. The driver brought us to a few beautiful places such as on a short hike up for an incredible view of the Pic Saint-Loup mountain, a short walk through the historic & medieval village of Hier Les Matelles, and then to his home for an incredible and very relaxing home cooked lunch by his mother and wife. A truly awesome experience. Thanks to Bertrand & Family, Rod & Kathy

Superb wine tasting, lunch and picturesque tour. - We met with Bertrand near the Comedie, and he drove us to Pic Saint Loup, a beautiful countryside location in a valley of vines surrounded by dramatic limestone peaks. The winery was stunning, and we were lucky to see their harvest being processed and learn about the treatment and maturation of the grape juice. We tasted some lovely wines in the vineyard, discovering the Pic Saint Loup appellation. Next, we walked to a viewpoint to see the Pic itself, then on to Bertrand's family home for a superb homemade lunch and more wine! Afterwards, we returned to Montpellier via the charming medieval village of Les Matelles, where we walked through the ancient streets soaking up the atmosphere. We were all very happy with the tour, and Bertrand was an excellent guide.

Unique journey into Pic Saint Loup - Very informative guide who was great with English and accommodating to the group. Had a lovely lunch at his Inn, visited one nice winery and toured a charming little village. Only recommendation would be to add a second winery stop to make the long journey more worthwhile.
