Enjoyable once under way. - The tour itself was very enjoyable. Our tour guide Francois did a great job of directing us through the stops and explaining the history of Montreal. Our only dissatisfaction was that we were not aware we had to check in for a wrist band, and the bus was on the opposite side of the square where we were to begin the tour. In addition Mt Royal was closed to traffic so we missed it and St. Joseph’s. There should have been email notifications regarding these issues so we could have been prepared.

Good value for the money - The hop on hop off bus is a good value, as their ticket is good for 2 days, while other neighboring provinces charge the same amount for 1 day. . The tour guides and drivers are good, and each guide gives their own anecdotes and insight during the city overview. The stops are well laid out and each has its own draw. It would be nice if all the stops were clearly marked as some have signage and some do not. It would also be nice to add the mile end neighborhood to the route

Montreal is a great city. - Notre Dame cathedral, old town and Mont Royal were great places to visit. Had a great time. Hop on Hop off is a good value to see all the area of Montreal.

Our Hop on Hop off adventure - Generally, the experience was quite good. Our first day of the tour was fabulous. Julien was amazing. He was very informative and shared lots of wonderful information about the tour. The same day we got back on and experienced a very rickety old bus with a tour director that was really not very good. Don't know his name. Thankfully we were just getting on to go to Old Montreal. The second day started off well and we had a wonderful woman tour guide. We picked the bus up near McGill. We decided to get off at the St. Joseph's Oratory knowing that buses came every 15-20 minutes. After our lunch, we waited at the stop for an hour. We eventually ended up calling to find out why there were no buses. We were told to watch for the double decker bus which we had been doing for an hour. Then they said there had been an incident. While we understand that things happen, perhaps another bus should have taken over when the "incident" happened. Just our thoughts.

Having to get off the bus after full initial tour to get on another bus. crazy will you be having stomach problems don’t - Having to get off after the initial to our ride to get on another bus and wait 20 minutes for that driver to be ready to drive. I’ve been to many countries and one driver drove all day so that people could stay on after the initial full tour and get off when they felt like it and not always get off at the first stop. Additionally, it turned us off when they said feel free to leave a tip for the driver or the tour guide when you only rode one stop with them. Ridiculous . if you’re the same driver all day long then yes a tip would be warranted and we normally tip and tip. Well, perhaps you all need to change the way you do your hop on hop off. Take a tip from hop on hop off.

Disappointing - The tour guide was rude and made inappropriate remarks about Catholics and Australians. He was eating whilst using the microphone and did not share much about the beautiful culture of Montreal. His remarks as we came down the stairs ( being on the larger side) were also not appreciated. He needs to check if the microphone is on.
