Montreal Bagel Tour - The Montreal Bagel Tour is a delightful walk thru the Mile End neighborhood, between those two great rivals, the St. Viateur Bagel Shop and the Fairmount Bagel Shop. The final destination is a park where you feast on bagels, smoked salmon, cream cheese, and hummus, and try to guess which bagels come from which shop. On the way, Thom regales you with Montreal bagel lore (what makes them unique and how they are made and the birth and history of each shop) and information about the neighborhood - its murals, its churches, its Jewish community, and its current climate. I heartily recommend this diverting, informative, fun tour to any visitor to Montreal. Barbara Harrison
