Meet outside the main entrance of the Jean Talon Market, facing Henri Julien Ave. Closest metro is Jean Talon station on the Orange/Blue lines and is an 8 minute walk from the meeting spot. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start. The tour will begin on time and we cannot wait for latecomers.

Magnificent Tour - A big thank you to Isabelle and Lesley for this magnificent tour in the heart of Little Italy and the Jean-Talon market! You will have the opportunity to discover the origins of this district as well as the history of the first Italians who settled in Montreal thanks to Isabelle's knowledge and anecdotes. Thank you very much for the little gifts and the moments of bonus tasting throughout the course, as well as for your precious advice and good addresses! It was an unforgettable moment thanks also to the other participants who were adorable. I hope to have the chance to see you again soon during a next stay in Montreal

Little Italy and Jean Talon Market Tour - amazing!! - This was one of the best experiences I had in Montreal, even though I live here for almost 4 years. Two hours flew by as we were entertained by such interesting stories from the past and present of Little Italy and Jean Talon Market. Even my 12 year old boy enjoyed it (and that says a LOT)!! MTL Detours tours are truly memorable, I cannot wait to do their Old Montreal Tour!

Just Do It! - Isabelle was an amazing guide!!! So friendly and so knowledgeable about all- things related to Montreal culture and history. There were even some very delicious and well-timed treats in the tour! I learned a lot and laughed a lot. Loved the small group and had so much fun!
