Learning on the move - She was a very good presenter speaker and historian. We were on our feet but I learned a lot. There was no way I could do it on my own as a visitor. She walked us through the underground, buildings, explained the map and spoke English and French when appropriate. She is aware of different cultures and a good sense of humor. She was motivating and kept her smile the entire time. She also gave us good suggestions on places to eat. Wonderful, and worth the price! She kept her walks moving but she looked back to make sure all levels and speeds stayed together.

Great tour! - Experiencing RESO with Catherine as our tour guide was exceptional! We learned so much about the history of the 'underground city' and of other historical sites along the way. Catherine was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and kept us moving throughout the two hour tour. We highly recommend this tour for other visitors who want to experience such a unique opportunity!

Book it! - Do yourself a favor and book this tour first on your trip. Martin showed us how to navigate the underground system which would have saved us after walking around in the cold and rain the day before. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely worth it for the navigational knowledge!

Absolutely without a doubt Incredible, The first hand experience of life underground n how it’s connected - The depth of knowledge and how well it was articulated to keep us focused. Loved the fact that she allowed the opportunity to asked questions, or would go over something, that needed clarification. She was patient n very personable. Sorry I forgot her name, but I would definitely would be part of her tour anytime.

A comprehensive user’s guide to Montréal’s Underground City - During previous trips to Montréal, I walked through the Underground City on my way to various destinations; however, I only gained a disjointed view of the tunnels. Martin, our tour guide, took us on a comprehensive, logical tour of the Underground City. Consequently, I developed a holistic view of the amazingly extensive concourse. He explained the Underground City’s history in detail; how the tunnels are managed (by individual building owners, not the city of Montréal); access to useful destinations from the tunnels (e.g., Eaton Centre, food courts, shopping centers, Métro connections, etc.); and directional signage (often confusing). Furthermore, before descending underground, he pointed out historic buildings. He explained that the first section of the tunnel opened under Montreal’s first skyscraper, Place Ville Marie. Martin arrived on time, spoke clearly, was well organized, answered questions, and was very friendly. The tour entails a considerable amount of walking; however, the terrain is level.
