Definitely worth it! - Our tour guide was great and so was the food! We got to learn more about the history right around our hotel in Old Montreal. The pacing was perfect and so was the length of time.

The perfect introduction to Old Montreal - The tour was exceptional. There were 6 stops for excellent cuisine on the perfect walking tour of Old Montreal. One member of our party is Celiac and the guide diligently (and seemingly effortlessly) made accommodations at each stop to ensure they enjoyed the tour as much as everyone else. 5/5 stars. Would recommend to a friend (or nice strangers).

Don’t miss this tour! - This was such a wonderful experience! We tasted excellent food and also learned a lot about the history of Montreal from our guide Cecil. Cecil was an EXCELLENT tour guide and provided above and beyond service. She gave great recommendations for other places to explore and visit. She clearly has great pride for her city, and she is passionate as a tour guide.

Enjoyed our taste of Montreal - Chantal was a great tour guide! Very personable and knowledgeable of the area. It was nice being able to sample some of the foods from Montreal. The only recommendation I have on the poutine was not to put mustard on it since some people don't care for it. The mustard was overpowering. Other than that, enjoyed our tour.

Wouldn’t do it again - I have to echo other reviewers in that this is not a foodie tour. It’s more of a history tour with a few food stops sprinkled in. There’s one drink on the stop and it’s a beer at the very last stop. It’s also not accommodating to dietary restrictions and you do not have the option of ordering something that caters to your restrictions so you either eat what’s offered or you don’t get to sample it at all. I personally would skip this tour. Our tour guide was very informative history wise, but the food places chosen were very touristy and lacked authenticity in my opinion.

Could have been better - David was knowledgeable, food was average, organisation with operator was not optimal. For a family of 9 in the tour, that maxed out their capacity to 18, the experience was a bit exhausting and it could have been much better with a more attentive organisation.

Avoid this trip!! - The Guide was fine.. no issues. But for a food tour, the food was abysmal. Bagels with cream cheese? small pieces of cheese on toast? roasted poblano peppers in a taco? Is that what is striking about the Montreal food scene? If you are a cautious food person.. this trip is for you, if you are truly into food, stay away. and the portions are miniscule as well. I have done food trips in many cities and this ranks the lowest.
