Beautiful Old Montreal - The enjoyable tour gives context to the beautiful historical buildings in Old Montreal. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. The tour group size limit of 10 made it possible to ask questions.

Definitely do this! - Great mix of history, architecture, things to do and current understanding of Quebecois culture. I would highly recommend this tour for first time visitors to Montreal. Our guide Jeff was very knowledgeable (history teacher) and fun. He was great at answering whatever questions were asked, and clearly enjoyed doing so. BTW Jeff, the Peruvian-Chinese fusion restaurant is called Chifa. It’s on De Bleury.

Interesting and Informative Tour - Thom was the guide on the tour and from the outset was informative and interesting. He provided our group with some really cool history of Montreal. Not only did he provide informative detail on the history of the city but provided personal anecdotes that really helped gain an understanding of the diversity of the city. I really enjoyed the tour and glad I went on it was - I only booked it the day of the tour.

MTL Detours Our Favorite - We took an Old Montreal Tour in 2019 prior to COVID. It was four hours with a break for lunch. Last time we brought friends who had never been to Montreal. They enjoyed it. This time we had different friends. His last trip to Montreal was as a teen during the World’s Fair. This is his wife’s first visit. This tour was much better. It was two hours which was sufficient. Thom, our guide, was awesome. He’s very knowledgeable and helpful. Montreal is one of my favorite cities in North America. The history is fascinating. The architecture is very interesting. The people in Montreal are diverse and friendly. I recommend this tour

First Rate Walking Tour Of Old Montreal - Our tour guide, Emile, was excellent. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the sights and history of Old Montreal. She also gave us shopping tips and a handout with the names and addresses of recommended restaurants/cafes/shops and other places to visit. One of the best guided walking tours we have been on.

Great tour of Old Montreal - highly recommend! - Jeff did a great job of giving the group a history lesson, while also keeping the tour light and fun. It was an easy pace, with several opportunities to stop and look around, and use the bathroom, fill up water bottles, grab a snack, etc. I loved that the group size was less than 10 - we were able to go up to a nice lookout because of the group size, and overall, it just felt more personal and friendly getting to know each other. Thanks, Jeff!

This walking tour won’t disappoint! - First time in Montreal and the walking tour was a perfect way to learn more intimate details about this quaint city.
