Memorable day Snorkeling in the Amazing Water of Moorea! - We are here in Moorea to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. We had such a fun time with Yo and Dext, they helped provide a day to remember. They promptly left the dock and took us into 2 bays where we saw dolphins and provided us with legends and interesting facts of the Island. We then went to a channel where we saw sea turtles and got in the water to drift snorkel to the island for a delicious barbeque lunch of grilled tuna, chicken and ribs with fries and rice. They provided homemade punch, with or without rum. At lunch the black tipped sharks and rays joined us near our tables. The last place we snorkeled was in shallow water with sharks, rays and beautiful fish, it was the best! The boat ride back was fast and fun. Although English is our only language the guide spoke English and gave us the information in English. There was only one other American couple but it was fun to hear everyone speak French and try to get to know them. I wouldn't miss this activity of you have a chance, it will be a memorable day in paradise!

Snorkeling excursion - Best guides !! They made sure we saw sea turtles, dolphins, eagle rays, sharks, stingrays. More than enough time to snorkel and swim! Lunch was provided, drinks and even traditional dessert made on the boat made of coconut and banana! So good and SO WORTH more of the money that we paid. Mana and Rie were great tour guides! I was so annoyed we didn’t have cash on us to tip them (even though it’s not asked) they did such a good job and we laughed and laughed the entire time. So good! We definitely Recommend! recommend! recommend!

If you want to see Moorea by water - Excursion Review: Exploring Moorea by Boat – A Breathtaking Experience
Our boat excursion in Moorea was an unforgettable experience that perfectly combined adventure, marine life encounters, and relaxation. The tour took us to a stunning sandbar and two other scenic stops along the route to a Motu nestled between the big island and the smaller islands. Each location offered breathtaking views and incredible opportunities to see marine life up close.
One of the highlights of the trip was the abundance of marine wildlife we encountered. We had the chance to see graceful rays, sea turtles, majestic manta rays, and even black-tip sharks gliding through the clear waters. Snorkeling in deeper water was an amazing experience, and our two tour guides were exceptionally attentive, ensuring that everyone stayed together and felt safe throughout the adventure.
Upon arriving at the Motu, we were welcomed with a delicious lunch served at picnic tables right by the water. The food was fresh and flavorful, and we especially enjoyed the refreshing rum and pineapple juice (with a non-alcoholic option available). The setting was perfect—relaxing, scenic, and a great way to take in the beauty of Moorea.
Even though there were other visitors at the Motu, the small group size (around 12 people) made the experience feel intimate and enjoyable. It was nice to snorkel without feeling crowded, allowing us to fully appreciate the vibrant underwater world around us.
Overall, this tour was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, with friendly and knowledgeable guides, stunning locations, and an amazing chance to see Moorea’s marine life in its natural habitat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Moorea from the water!

Perfect day! - I am so glad we got todo this excursion! We were on a cruise when we were supposed to go on this, but the weather was so bad everything was canceled for the day. We had an extra day after the cruise to be able to rebook this lovely tour! I’m so glad we were able to fit it in! Our guide and driver were great! We saw lots of turtles, sharks, stingrays, eagle rays plus all the other smaller fish. Their lunch stop was top notch! Stingrays were swimming around and over our feet as we ate! You can’t beat that!

God's Creation at it's Best - This was a wonderful snorkelling tour, friendly guides and small boat. Our guides chose the optimum time of the day to visit different areas depending on crowds which was great. We saw dolphins, turtles and a whale and snorkelled alongside sting rays and black tipped reef sharks. The water was a beautiful clear blue, we saw God's creation at it's best. Choose this tour, you won't be disappointed.

Amazing snorkeling experience! - Amazing experience. Phenomenal. The guys were so nice and welcoming and very knowledgeable of the Moorea island. We saw SO many cool wildlife including turtles, stingrays and sharks. They made us all feel comfortable in the water, even with the strong current. I would highly suggest you bring fins- it makes it easier to maneuver throughout the water. Overall amazing experience. The lunch was delicious as well- traditional Tahitian meal.

The guides were nice, and... - The guides were nice, and the boat was not crowded. We stopped to watch the spinner dolphins and snorkeled at five places to see turtles, rays, sharks, fish, and submerged tikis. The currents were very strong, and they had limited assist for weaker swimmers or to help fight the current. Other boats had pool noodles and supports. This boat had one float that the guide pulled to help a maximum of 2 people at a time. They did put out a float rope at the ray/shark site, and nearly everyone held it due to the strong pull of the current. Lunch was at a waterside restaurant and was quite good. Overall, it was a lovely trip but a bit stressful due to the current. Please note that fins are not provided and most of the snorkel masks were scratched from heavy use. If you have your own equipment, bring it on this trip.
