Embark on a thrilling morning desert adventure in Dubai. Experience a dune drive, camel ride, and sandboarding, and enjoy snacks in a picturesque desert setting.
In the early morning, depart your central Dubai hotel by air-conditioned 4 wheel drive vehicle. Your knowledgeable and experienced safari guide will point out landmarks of Dubai and explain about the desert, it’s history and importance to Emiratis as you drive out to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. After approximately 45 minutes you will enter the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, a unique reserve, funded by its visitors to conserve the natural beauty and biodiversity of the Arabian Desert.
On the morning dune drive through the reserve you will see the flora and fauna and have a chance to see wildlife indigenous to the reserve, including Arabian Oryx and gazelle. Stop to exit the 4 wheel drive vehicle and switch to another form of transport - the ‘ship of the desert’ or camel. Take a short camel ride to the campsite where we stop for refreshments.
After the break, enjoy an exciting dune drive and then change pace for a gentle drive through the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve with additional time to look out for wildlife and take some wonderful photographs. On the drive pass by the lakes located in the reserve before the end of the nature drive.
Leaving the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve behind, your safari guide will transfer you back to your hotel.
