Casablanca - Rabat – Chefchaouen

Rabat - After a relaxed breakfast, we will drive to Chefchaouen via Rabat, the administrative capital. Here, you’ll see the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. The Hassan Tower, an unfinished project by Sultan Yacout Al Mansour of the Almohad dynasty, was intended to be the largest mosque but was left incomplete upon his death. The site is continuously guarded by elaborately dressed royal guards. You will also visit the Shallah and Oudays Kasbah. Then, we will continue through the foothills of the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, a unique city with white-washed walls and blue doors and windows. Influenced by Spanish and Moorish architecture, Chefchaouen offers a chance to visit the main square (Outa Hammam), Kasbah, and Ras ElMa, allowing for some unguided exploration or personal time.

Here, you will have a guided tour to learn about the Roman Empire. Next, we will head to Meknes, the Ismaili capital of Morocco, to see the impressive Bab Mansour gate, the granary, and the Sahrij Souani, used for irrigation and plantation. A trip I will never forget. I bucketlist experience. - I was hesitant to travel solo to Morocco for the first time. Said assured me throughout the process that I would be looked after. The accommodation that was booked for me was great. Due to my budget I needed to refine a few things and Said was more than happy to adjust this to fit my budget. Whilst it was a little more expensive than other tours as I was travelling solo, it suited me perfectly as I love to take photos and I was able to guide the days as I wanted which was simply amazing. The driver Ibrahim was next level. I am happy to now call him my friend. If I wanted to stop for photos, coffee, toilet or even have a sleep in on some days he was more than happy to assist. I also had a serious food injury on my first few days; Ibrahim on his day off walked around the town we were in on a Sunday to find a pharmacy and get medication for me. I had a wonderful 8 day tour and would recommend to anyone.

Once upon a time... - First of all, I was looking for a once-in-a-lifetime vacation experience and the right people to guide me through this journey. I had the opportunity to meet Said Amraoui, a professional business owner who knows how to cater to every client's needs. His quick responses, clear information, suitable schedules, and individualized approach set him apart. As a result, we embarked on a 15-day private tour that included all the locations we requested, along with some excellent suggestions from Said. On the first day, our driver Ibrahim picked us up from the airport. The match-up couldn't have been better. We immediately felt a positive atmosphere. Ibrahim was a very kind man, willing to help and guide us safely throughout the 15 days. He was an excellent driver, flexible and informative, with excellent English.brahim was also accommodating with changes in the program and provided us with financial assistance in cooperation with Said when the ATMs were not working. During the last four days, we had a new driver, Hassan. Hassan was kind and funny, which both my friend and I found enjoyable. Our journey took us through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, with their breathtaking landscapes and stunning valleys. The mountains were dotted with lush forests and diverse flora, including ancient cedar and argan trees. The valleys were a sight to behold, with their terraced fields and vibrant greenery. We encountered Berber villages where the local people warmly welcomed us, sharing their rich culture and traditions. The Berbers, with their unique way of life, traditional clothing, and hospitable nature, added a profound depth to our experience. We traveled from the serene open fields to dense forests, experiencing the incredible diversity of Morocco's landscapes. We explored abandoned places with a sense of mystery and wandered through crowded cities teeming with life and energy. Each location offered a new perspective and a deeper understanding of the country's beauty and complexity. The desert and the camp were the most significant moments for me, bringing a sense of peace I had never felt before. We rode camels across the golden dunes and spent nights under the starry sky, truly immersing ourselves in the tranquility of the desert. Our last destination was the enchanting city of Essaouira, a coastal city with a medina right by the sea, often referred to as the "Windy City." The unique blend of the ocean breeze and the historical charm of the medina made Essaouira a perfect conclusion to our unforgettable adventure in Morocco. The accommodations provided by Deep Morocco Tours were top-notch, offering comfort and relaxation after each day of exploration. From cozy riads nestled within bustling medinas to luxurious desert camps under the starlit sky, every hotel was carefully selected to enhance our experience. Impeccable service, stunning views, and authentic Moroccan hospitality made our stays truly unforgettable. Deep Morocco Tours exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Said Amraoui and his team were not just professional but went above and beyond to ensure our journey was tailored to perfection. From the diverse landscapes to the cultural insights, every moment was unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend Deep Morocco Tours to anyone seeking a truly immersive and memorable experience in Morocco.

100% BEST Touring Company in Morocco!! We LOVE Deep Morocco!!! - We just arrived home from an incredible 11 days in Morocco and I want everyone reading the testimonials to know that Deep Morocco is the best touring company in all of Morocco! Said took such great care of us in the planning portion of the trip, and his younger brother Omar was the BEST guide we could have ever asked for! Going to Morocco on our own would have been an amazing trip, but having Deep Morocco as our guides created the best travel experience we have ever had. You feel right at home with them. You will get to experience Morocco in a way you could not do on your own, nor with any other touring company. I will continue to go back to visit and choose them as our guides.

There is so much more! I will let fellow travelers discover for themselves. - I loved my trip to Morocco with Deep Moroccan tours. The accommodations were great and we had tours each day and learned about the country, culture and history. Our driver was excellent and we grew to value our relationship with him. We travelled to the cities and saw crafts and art and Mosques and wonderful sights. Loved the small, winding streets, and tours about life in the Medina and saw the wares of merchants. We traveled to the desert and saw the sun rise and set on the dunes. Slept in a tent and rode camels. Had a great meal. We traveled thru the mountains and saw farms of olive trees and argon nuts that make the oil. There is so much more but I will leave it up to travelers to discover. Thank you Deep Moroccan tours!

Wonderful Deep Morocco Tours - Deep Morocco Tours Nov. 29—Dec. 8, 2023 What a time we had, our group of five women! Ibrahim was a handsome driver/guide who was not only knowledgeable but also accommodating to our every wish. (A little more time here…a bathroom break…the name of the mosque…etc.) An appreciation of the cleanliness and friendliness everywhere kept us fascinated. But, of course, the thrill was in the gorgeous scenery and charming cities, each with its own splendid mosque. We started with a very touristy dinner at Rick’s Café in honor of the movie “Casablanca.” After that, we sank into the culture as much as our American mindsets would allow. The alleys in Fez, the beautiful tile everywhere, lovely pottery, ornate silver, sublimely soft leather, the delicious food—so much to see and feel and taste. The very most exotic experience was a night in the desert. The camel ride was accessible to all of us. We felt so adventurous. There is no way to adequately describe the expansive dunes, the passing travelers, even the motorized vehicles seemingly dashing off into an abyss. The colors, the performance of the sunset and sunrise, the entertainment and excellent food in the camp—it was all spectacular. Marrakech was the perfect place to wind down, in the sense of capturing all we could in the last days. Listening to the call to prayer with a guide who sang along and explained was exceptional. We hated to leave the ubiquitous mint tea behind. But glorious memories and even the poor substitute of photos remain with each of us.
