An Outstanding Tour of a Beautiful Country - Excellent private tour. Opted to not have tourguide pick us up and drive us to the port, but our ferry tickets were waiting for us when we arrived and were easy to obtain. Driver, Abdul, did an exceptional job. He picked us up right outside ferry in Tangier. Vehicle was a spacious SUV with AC. Immediately started touring. Abdul was very personable and gave us a unique view of Morocco. He stopped whenever we wanted to take a photo or take in a view, and had answers to all of our questions about the country (whether about agriculture, city infrastructure, culture, religion, etc.). Ruins of Volubilis were incredible. Just like being in Pompeii but without the crowds (private tour guide here). Lunch was great. Lamb and pita at a local spot. Then on to Fes which was a bit of a long ride, but it was very cool and interesting to see all the villages along the way. Fes was a city unlike anything else we had seen. Narrow streets that can only fit one person at a time and larger streets with vendors on both sides and donkeys running through the middle! Hotel was amazing, a Moroccan palace. Had dinner at the hotel, which was outstanding. Next morning had a private tour with a local, taking us throughout the city. Don't recall his name, but very knowledgable, friendly, and passionate about the culture of his city. He took us to tanneries, pottery shops, spice shops, rug shops, etc. Items were a bit pricier in these places, so we bought some stuff at these locations but also did our own shopping as well. Then on to Chefchaouen, the blue city. Again, amazing landscapes and beautiful scenery as we drove. Hotel was very nice, but not as amazing as the one in fes. Still, the rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Found dinner wandering the streets and able to buy a bunch of things along the streets as there are small shops everywhere. Then the next morning, a local (also named Abdul) took us around the city for an excellent and informative 2 hour tour where we were able to take in the culture and the history of the city. We navigated the blue streets, taking photos everywhere and climbed to the top of the mountain for beautiful views. Then our driver picked us up, we toured Tangier a bit more, and were dropped off right at the ferry terminal in time for our departure. Beautiful country, beautifully organized tour, highly recommend.

A great first trip in Morocco! - We had a great experience on this trip! They definitely plan a ton into 3 days, and I feel we got the most out of our first time in Morocco. Our driver, Omar, was exceptional. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It’s worth noting you will spend several hours a day in the car, and he’s a great driver. Our overnight in Fes was great. The Riad was beautiful, however we felt we were swindled with dinner. They didn’t tell us how much it would be, and it ended up being almost $60 USD for two people. This was by far the most expensive meal we had, and we felt they might have taken advantage of us as American tourists. Our walking tour in Fes was lengthy, but enjoyable. Our guide was great. Very helpful. He brought us to lots of local shops and markets. Some people definitely were pushy when it came to buying things. Others not so much. Chefchaouen was beautiful! It’s a much smaller city, so we were able to see most of it within two hours. We had some time to do some shopping afterward as well. Finally we did a walking tour in Tangier, where we started. Our guide Abdul was wonderful. We saw great sights and had good food! It’s worth nothing, Viator does NOT cover your transportation from Tarifa back to Malaga, so just be careful of that. Overall we had a great experience!

Three day, two night tour of Morrocco - Good "Door to Door" tour. Easy ferry to and from Tarifa. As this was off season there was just the two of us, good to know that company will tailor this to your requirements. Guides were excellent, Nice modern Mercedes Minibus and fantastic accommodation. Riad Myra, specifically, in Fes, was a wonderful overnight. A lot of driving and I suggest you get the guide to miss the outer Tangier highlights on day one and head south immediately as the ruins at Volubis deserve attention (and it was touch and go with the timings). Outer Tangier and Hercules caves could easily be done on last day. Thanks Omar for a great tour.

Overall this tour was great! We were... -
Overall this tour was great! We were looking for a tour where we could see a good bit of the country in a short time and have a guide and driver with us. We got just that! Our driver was amazing lots of driving on this tour he spoke great English and kept us on schedule. We had different tour guides in each city we visited and they were amazing make sure you bring enough cash to tip them all! They all spoke incredible English and were very passionate about their country. The Riads we stayed in were great! You definitely get a feel for the culture with this tour. In Fez, we stayed right in the Old Medina which was overwhelming but in a good way thank god for our tour guide and the owner of the Riad who were with us the whole time. The tour through Fez was great, you get to see everything you would want to see. The one thing I will say is we stopped at a lot of tourist spots which were great but a lot of the workers were very pushy to buy product and almost everyone we talked to or helped us in any way expected a tip, so make sure you have small bills or coins with you to tip. Chefchaouen was beautiful and much more manageable on your own! This trip is more like 2 days total we did half day Tuesday, full day Wednesday and half day Thursday so it is a lot crammed into a short period of time, that was the only downfall. You have to be prepared to spend 4 hours driving a day and always on the go. However, if you are up for it and only have a short time like we did - it is worth it!!
