Perfect guide, not so perfect camp organisation - First of all the trip is totally worth it when you want to see the Desert and life in rural Morocco, as well as to get to know the Berber culture. Our tour guide Chaima really made this trip to be a near perfect experience. She was extremely friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable, introducing us to her culture and showing us around. She made sure everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed the trip as much as she could. When there were problems in the camp (I get to that below), she did her utmost to get the best solution possible for us. For me, she was a very important factor, why the trip was so enjoyable and why I gave five stars. Our driver Omar was also great, drove us savely and without problems, even under difficult circumstances. The camp though was completely overbooked and most of our group, who had booked a single-luxury-tent, had to share the tents with others or even were transfered to another camp. Since most of our group did the 3-day-tour, they left and I was supposed to stay a second night in camp but because of overbooking I had to be transfered to a hotel nearby and didn't get to do the sunset camel tour in the morning. That should not happen at all and the organizers of the camp should plan that better in the future, especially during high season.

The Ultimate Morocco Tour – Nature, Culture & Abdul! - TL;DR: The tour was amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Morocco. The breathtaking nature was a definite highlight, along with our MVP tour guide, Abdul. Long version: We did the four-day tour with standard accommodation and the private tour option. The first few days took us to the Sahara, with multiple sightseeing stops along the way. Our driver and guide, Abdul, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about all the places we visited. He even customized the route slightly after discussing our interests with us, adding stops he thought we’d enjoy—and he was absolutely right! His personal touch added something truly special to the experience, taking us to spots most tours would normally skip. The ruins, nomadic encounters, stunning rock formations, and the overall landscape made this trip truly unforgettable. The stay near the Sahara was a bit rough around the edges. We were woken up by banging on the door and shouting at 5 a.m., 6 a.m., and 7 a.m., even though our breakfast wasn’t until 8 a.m. and there was no light, electricity, or much water in the tents—even after being “upgraded” to a luxury tent. That said, having a private toilet was a nice bonus. The Sahara itself was absolutely stunning. We got lucky with the weather, as it had rained earlier so it wasn’t too hot yet. I highly recommend catching both the sunset and sunrise in the dunes—they were magical. We also had a campfire with music and dancing at night, organized by the tour. How fun this is really depends on the vibe of the other guests, but it can be a great time if everyone gets into it. At night, I suggest walking a bit further into the first dunes to stargaze. With minimal light pollution, the view of the stars is incredible. All in all, I can’t recommend this tour enough! It’ll be even more special if you get Abdul as your guide—he truly made this an experience I’ll never forget. P.S. Don’t forget to pack plenty of sunscreen, a jumper for the cooler nights, and extra water—it’s a bit pricey at the camp.

Marokko in its many colors - The Trip is very beautiful, we got to see a lot of different scenery of Marokko that would otherwise be difficult to experience. Also special thank to our driver Abdul, he not only fittet the trip to our need and wishes but also took us to extra stops that were once in a lifetime experience and that made the trip 100% better.

Definitely worth booking the 4 day trip - Our tour to Mezuga was amazing, definitely worth paying for 2 days in the desert. Sandsurfing was free, but lots of chance to do different activities. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating

Unbelievable desert experience, but some negative points to note! - Points - -The first hotel was a disaster, shower tap that remains in the hands, 120 dinars / or 12€ per person. No view of Boulmanes as announced by the hotel ref. A swimming pool that wasn't even worth putting a toe in. A horrible night, on the edge of the national highway with stray dogs barking all night. Incomprehensible – The 1-hour excursion in Boulmanes did not take place - l stop in the village of Rissani did not take place We were forgotten in a (standard) desert camp following an excursion; which was not ours. A horror to find, and get taken back to our camp (luxury category) - pressure by the guide from the 2nd day to put 5 stars to the excursion. UNACCEPTABLE. Otherwise “he was not paid”.... - no camel out of the desert or sunrise for Day 4 as detailed Points + THE DESERT IS AN INCREDIBLE AND UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE. And I strongly advise the luxury option camp. Memories for life! The scenery, the visit Ait-Ben Haddou, , Todra river and its palm grove are great (of course, wait for stops shops for tourists)

Summary - get to the Sahara desert! However, use a different company. - Overall, we had a good experience. The trip started off perfectly fine - although minimal education on when/where we were stopping until right before. We are pretty chill so it didn’t bother us, but some people who may like to know the plan.. may want to ask more questions. There are several stops in the first two days in the bus. Breakfast and dinners are included, however, lunches are not and they are forced upon you and we were minimally impressed with those options. The hotel room night 1 was at a possible 2 star hotel and was very dirty, but in a neat location near mountains. The camping in the desert had better accommodations. The best part of the trip was for sure our camel rides and full day in the desert. I highly recommend picking the 4 day option, as you barely have 12-13 hours in the desert if you pick the 3 days option. I do have to say, the planning of our full day in the desert was amazing. We rode in a jeep that rode across the dunes, had tea with a nomad, saw some old ruins, had the ability to swim at a hotel in the middle of the Sahara and ended the night with ATV tour (all with extra costs but worth it). If you do not stay the extra day, you arrive around 6.. ride the camel to camp, have dinner and some music around a fire and leave at 6:30 the next morning. Our first night was very fun around the fire, however, second night was very low key - so all depends on how tired the crew is. The last day is where things went south for us. We were sitting at dinner when a new tour guide (since ours left with the 3 day crew) came up to us and said we do not have transportation for the 3 of us, but they were working diligently to find it. This was news to us, because we assumed since we booked months in advance, we’d have a spot on a bus. Although a red flag should have been when we were on a bus with different tour types, and multiple times we had to clarify which tour we were. Finally, two tour guides arrive to tell us we will have to split up and put 1 on one bus and two on the other. We expressed our disappointment in this option and were met with very rude responses. Excuses were made saying “it is high season” insinuating we should have known we’d have to be split up. We were then encouraged with this choice that we’d all be making the same stops. This was in fact not the case. Our now solo female friend had to travel alone and be dropped off alone in Marrakech at a location that was not the intended drop off point. When she stated this was incorrect, she was again met with a very rude response from her tour guide. We were very upset about the disregard provided with our frustration of being split up and for that reason our review lowered. I would say it was a great experience solely for the fact getting to the desert is amazing! Though, the tour experience was subpar. The communication the whole time was minimal and felt disorganized. However, we did get from A to B safely and experienced a lot. Hassan was great to us, even Shu Shu tried very hard to be kind after our split up. Ali was very rude and would not recommend him to anyone. The conclude, we followed up with the company to communicate and settle this regard. They responded saying “they’d get back to us within 48 hours” and it has now been a week. Therefore, I do not recommend this company. However, I gave it a 3 stars to demonstrate you need to get to the desert!! Just choose a different company.

Served raw chicken & itinerary not followed - - served raw chicken, and so was everybody else! - itinerary not followed: only one camel ride and things very disorganised, especially on day 3, two days in desert in April instead of one - Forced to pay for lunch on day 3 even though itinerary says some food included and had to barter from €20 to €15 at the camp: no other choice - in the desert, things are very chaotic and nobody knows what's going on - I would urge anyone considering to not book with this operator, although it's also worth noting that everything (the hotel, the bus, the guide) is shared with multiple tour operators - delayed 2-3 hrs on day 1, initially nobody knew why or if we were getting picked up - I emailed to request two separate rooms as we were 3 adults, and they said yes, but didn't actually book this for us - minibus cramped, AC not working, some seatbelts broken - noise late at night in the desert. Live music from our own camp and neighbouring camps until 11pm or later - paid extra for ensuite but no hot water in shower on 3rd day.
