- Marrakech - Hassan, the tour guide, and Salah, the driver, will pick you up from your hotel/riad or meet you at a designated meeting point. From there, the journey to the Atlas Mountains begins, lasting 1.5 hours. The first stop is the charming village of Azrou, followed by a visit to a women’s argan oil cooperative, where you can enjoy fresh bread and oil with Moroccan tea.
The next destination is the scenic and lively valley of Imlil, known for its fast-flowing river, nut trees, and traditional Berber villages scattered throughout. The walk starts with a peaceful stop at a lovely home, where you can savor the breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace while enjoying a delicious Berber lunch lovingly prepared by the family.
After lunch, the walk continues along an easy trail offering a fantastic view of the entire valley. The driver will be ready to take you back to Marrakech, with an expected arrival in town around 6 p.m.
